Bringing on this loser to salvage a point against Wrexham at home has to be up there as one of the lowest points in this clubs history

He was shit, looked like a testimonial game for him.  Even worse was we had him on the bench instead of more pace which Wrexham couldn’t handle.  Least jones got to do his mate a favour though

I thought his cameo was fucking hilarious. He looked like he'd won a competition
Are we sure it wasn't a competition winner? It had been mooted on here as a possibility.

Nice touch from the club if it was. As long as we got dough from it. After all, it's all about getting some extra shekels into the purse.

Old fashioned dirty bastard of a player who shook it up a bit.

Do I want him anywhere near the squad again? No, but he did what he does.

1000th wasted on Danny Hylton, bloody hell.

The disappointment is on par with having your cherry popped by an 80 year old prostitute called Mildred. Believe me, I know.

Who was the old target man we signed at the end of last season? He was better.

Conor Wickham, who has been keeping physios in work since 1903

we need a younger and fitter version of him to shake up and unsettle defenders

As FA states above, Connor Wickham who we signed at just 31.
The Problem was his body was 45 years old and battered from being a striker and playing in older age groups since he was in the under 10's !

What? He was useless and the only thing he did was get booked
  • Hope he’s a better coach than he is a player.

cant understand why he is ahead of Mbick, he surely cant be worse, makes no sense, people said he will never get minutes and is purely for coaching purposes, but here we are. He is taking potential minutes away from a youngster

Dixon then. My thinking is that against quite a big physical team Jones wanted Hylton as an option rather than Dixon.

Hylton looked unfit, and him coming on meant that Godden ended up playing on the wing, so I think Dixon would definitely have been the better choice

He was awful . Looked overweight and slow. Why on earth we didn’t have Dixon on the bench is beyond me .

    Meant to be injured too.

Though unless Dixon is also injured I’d have thought he’d be next in line.

Does make me wonder if Dixon only made the bench the other day because the Mount Pleasant academy were watching the game.

Totally unacceptable he was allowed to play for us yesterday. He looked like a Kent league player.

It’s nothing against him personally, but this shouldn’t be happening at this level.

Dixon was out running on the pitch with Zac Mitchell before the players came out to train yesterday . He looked fine to me but i'm no expert. Perhaps he failed a fitness test but i highly doubt that.

Got booked because he's an old fashioned dirty bastard who left his boot in on purpose.

Was also happy to wave his elbows around and wind up their players.

I'm not saying he was good but he came on to shake it up.

Fair enough, those two must have been available then and arguably both should be on the bench.

Sooner than later Zach should get a chance. Some might assume not playing means he’s not as good as Kanu, Anderson etc, but it could simply be as a young defender it’s seen as a bigger risk. With his size and ability on the ball I think he’s up there in terms of potential.
  • I can see Hylton just being a liability if he came on at the end of a crunch game, as he'd be off the pace and just give away free kicks from late tackles.
Which was basically what happened, as he's well off the pace.

Biggest negative for me was that injuries meant we didn't get to see Hylton vs Marriott
