His plan A has been found out and has failed. He needs to change it up.1 -

but also… he criticises fans for telling him X, Y and Z… and guess what, the changes that some have been calling for for ages even since we were doing well eg 4 at the back, 👋 Ahadme are the ones that bring a result…
If anything today shows how bad his management has been cos the same players who produced a performance like today also produced one of our all time worst performances on Tuesday night…
I think rather than wank yourself off after 1 result off the back of 3 shocking performances, turn around and go I’m still learning every day and learning my players and systems ill make mistakes along the way but thankfully I think we got it right today

Feeling a bit silly today Nicholas?2
-
No, he criticises the abuse, which he’s right to. Fans lose all credibility when they abuse managers.14
-
Want our manager and players to feel good about winning. And not in a ... "In your face, fans" kind of way. A lot of that is down to the atmosphere we create.
Last season I really thought we were going down. Many of us did, we were absolutely hopeless. NJ came in and turned it around and in an assured way. He surely massively in credit and deserves a touch more patience from all of us, me included.5 -

The four midfielders plan worked perfectly to nullify their central threat from Paik and Iwata - I don’t think we would’ve gone to four at the back today otherwise.0 -

Some fans shit the bed post Rovers, they should have the good grace to admit and clean up11
-
Not many teams can afford 3 game losing runs and still get promoted… anything less is failure when you’re in league one… you’d have to be deluded not to shit the bed after that trio of performances - unfortunately Jones had been consistently failing to address the issues which were clear to most for majority of the season - poor management
to his credit, he made substantial changes today which I didn’t think he would and managed today IMPECCABLY - good management 👏
we shall see if we can keep delivering against other sides and take this forward3 - Sponsored links:

Jones’s rant at in todays press conference is not of a man who’s well with the world
A well earned win against a top of the table team today and he then goes off on one about Tuesday night and then the abuse he took after that game
1. Enjoy today and look forward
2. In future don’t go over to the hardcore 500 plus that go week in, week out and expect then to kiss your arse. Bad results happen from time to time. Accept it and walk off

Any abuse is out of order, but constructive criticism was totally warranted, and today's performance just proved that a change of formation was essential.
No one wanted him gone, people just wanted to start seeing some decent football and some creativity.
Full credit to Jones for taking the criticism onboard and acting upon it.
Would he have changed things without all the criticism? Who knows!
But the fans may well have forced his hand and done him a favour.

Disagree. I think if you get stick you are entitled to give it back. Shows he's got a backbone and a temper. I don't want our manager to be our friend....I want him to have an edge and be able to inspire that edge and competitiveness into our players.
Today was an excellent response in the performance to well deserved criticism and as fans if we give pelters then players and managers are entitled to give it back and they should be allowed to.
He's an emotional, heart on your sleeve type and i prefer that in a drab media trained world of modern football.
Jones was rightly criticised for some inexplicable results and so were the players and if fans have given it it's only right he can give a bit back after a barnstorming response in which he's feeling vindicated in the moment.
We (royal we fanbase) can't scream blue murder and scream **** at someone from ten feet away and then get upset when a jab is returned via the press after win.
We're all on the same side. We'll get behind him and the team and they deliver results that warrants the support. That's the deal. All the rest is just pantomime.11 -
I mean we’ve just produced 3 of the wankiest back to back performances in our history, against genuine nothing clubs and we then produce a proper worldie in comparison which makes the previous 3 even more shocking .
Give us another two worldies on the bounce and I’ll drop to my knees and gobble your Welsh winkle off while announcing you as the second coming of Curbs , I’m a lot harder to get than some of the fellatio crew on here who drop to their knees a lot easier .21 -
So can we just confirm once again that booooing helps0

But at least it looked like the team were delivering for him so that's one of the darker narratives put to bed. And 8th after 10 games, I'd have taken that before the start.7 -
I didn't expect the turnaround.
I wonder if Nathan was being interfered with past couple of weeks? Whatever it was that caused that dip in effort and form, let's hope we kick on now... But we've seen all too many false dawns.0
