That is fucking indefensible for the official club to stock in my opinion.
If true & not photoshopped then I'm in complete agreement.
Glad Saturday is my last game for a while. Lost our soul.
Charlton ‘til I die … unless there’s half and half scarves / we are not looking like getting promoted / people want to go for a pint and/or piss outside the dedicated half time period …
If all this earns the club a massive amount of revenue from ticket sales / merchandise / food and drink then full speed ahead in my opinion.
Especially if a few enjoy seeing Charlton tonk Wrexham 7-0, and decide they want to come back in the future.
When Keith Peacock first visited the Valley (in the stands, as a youngster rather than as a player), wasnt it when we played Blackburn Rovers in a winner gets promoted game... We lost, and he felt so sorry for us, he decided to start supporting us? - I could have got that wrong as been a while since I've read his book.
The majority of us should be focused on one thing; coming away with three points.
Only way its truly going to fail off the pitch, is if we show ourselves up as a disorganised mess with day trippers leaving reviews, complaining about cost and wait times to get into the Ground / Purchasing things from the Club Shop / Getting Food & Drink - Thats where the club really cant afford to fail.
Still reckon we're hoping to appear on the relevant season of Welcome to Wrexham (tiny bit more exposure), with this one approach
They need to let the Wrexham fans know they are on sale and probably have them on sale outside the ground for neutrals as I can't see Charlton fans buying them. If they make a prophit on them it is a good idea I suupose. Likewise, if we win 7-0. A few of us might want a memento.
The whole thing is very embarrassing, but some tourists and kids like them, they are not for everyone, but if a kid wears one then fair enough, it is a simple momento of a match they went to (they don’t really buy programmes anymore)

No need to let them know, social media had done that job

A lot of you seem to be missing the point. Merchandise like this aren’t aimed at Charlton fans, these are for the day trippers and those coming to see Wrexham.
The club shop will be full of them and posing for selfies outside
So we are willing to sell our soul and swallow our pride, for a few day trippers giving the club an extra few thousand?
Doesn't seem like the type of strategy laid out by billionaires, they aren't that desperate for cash surely.
There's no point being missed, everyone can see exactly what the club has done, and how the day has always been about capitalising on Wrexhams clout from the very start. Doesn't mean it isn't fkn embarrassing.
I agree 100%, I wasn’t defending it, I think the add in the paper is cringey as well. I was merely pointing out the scarfs and all the other crap is for the tourists and to maximize profits, not for Charlton fans
I'm even more embarrassed about this now than when I saw the first scarf post a few hours ago.
Wrexham have visited Rotherham, Stevenage, Birmingham, Orient, Bolton, Peterborough so far and it's us who do this.
I don't particularly care if it makes a few pounds for the club. Fix the catering and make money off one-off visitors that way, or push jackpot tickets, or give a token discount for Peterborough at home if you bought a Wrexham ticket.

Can someone find out?
Now I'm delighted

Was that the famous opening day win v Leyton Orient Galaticos?
We watch the club dvd of that weekly at ours. What a moment.

This however is fucking embarrassing and I hope someone gets the boot for it.
