I’m half tempted to try and get hold of one… the way this has turned out, could turn into a funny piece of club history.

I’m not at all offended. I find it quite funny. Surely it’s purely to capitalise on extra revenue from the thousands of extras who won’t be here next time we play at The Valley?

Hardcore fans aren’t going to buy one and aren’t the intended market either

I'd never heard of him until this Wrexham thing. That's B list to me.

The thread title says it all, but it's not the seats, it's our soul that's been sold.
Don't be so over bloody dramatic.

    PWR.

Would it have been clever to package up three home games in a ticket deal including the Wrexham game into an offer? So that people wanting to see Hollywood but with a bit of an interest in football might also be tempted to buy tickets to two other games. And thereby perhaps getting some of them hooked into Charlton ?

Pretty sure they did, Birmingham, Stockport & Wrexham. I believe our own golfie took advantage of it

A tongue in cheek post about it being a big day for Wrexham

“Half and Half scarves for the fans! Everyone celebrates coming to The Valley. A reminder that Wrexham haven't played in SE7 since the 80's - so anything to make their special day better 😆 #cafc

Bare in mind they've been Hollywood since the National League and through League2

There might’ve been a chance to sneak it through without much fuss but given it got plastered on Twitter, we had no such luck.

I can’t see if the Club tweeted it originally.

It’s meaningless really. You either buy them or not.

The management are exploiting every possible revenue stream. That is the  bottom line.

The warning is that should we get promoted you can expect ticket price increase and further monetisation of every aspect of following the club.
I agree. Plenty of evidence already but then Methven and his chums aren’t here for anything other than what they can make financially for themselves. See them for what they are and you won’t be disappointed.

Since when did Charlton have a backwards J in the spelling.

They have nearly half a billion dollars between them, so not exactly small fry. We might have more financial clout in terms of how much money our collective ownership group have access to, but that's a different thing from how much they're spending. Wrexham have the added bonus of being on a viral show that generates more income for them and creates hype around them.

They did & I fell for it.

I now have a ticket that I've paid £30 which means I'll have to go. If I hadn't then I'd have swerved it.

    Club don't deserve my money.

Genuine feels of trying to be edgy.

Ryan Reynolds is the biggest male actor of the last 10 years. He wasn't even low profile before then! Been an A lister for maybe 12-15 years

The majority of that is from Ryan Reynolds. The other dude (couldn’t tell you his name, or what he has been in), is worth $40m

    saandguard was worth $600

i know a few Americans who are getting board of it, the Disney money won’t last for ever and this will end in tears

Just watched the last two episodes of Welcome to Wrexham.

Time to burst the Wrexham bubble, and get a couple of their players wound up, and sent off, no names required, let’s have this!

And I'd expect them to find it pretty easy to find additional investment as and when they need it. Bound to be more Hollywood bigwigs and American sports owners that will come on board when Reynolds needs a bit more clout financially.

Would hate to spoil everyone's big day seeing the massive Wrexham.
