I enjoyed Saturday, sat at the very back of the west stand with a mate I don't see much. Football wasn't top notch but I didn't expect it to be. Was worth it for the roar when Godden smacked in his pen. Felt we just about deserved a point, Wrexham weren't special, playoff candidates rather than autos. We'll be lucky to scrape in on that showing, I recon 8-10th unless we strengthen and start using Taylor more.
Was a good day out all in all, slightly marred by the fact I was stuck next to some fella id never seen before who started straight away with racist (not sure if the right word) abuse towards James Mclean. No, not just booing but as soon as he touched the ball called him "A F**KING IRISH C**T" and then was homophobic shouting "get up you P**F". Someone had a word and he stopped it but not ideal especially when kids around etc.
Football fans are strange. I hope venting for 90 minutes makes them feel better.
They sure are, we had 3 people say they were refusing to move from our seats as someone had taken theres 😆

Yeah it was quite funny, I'm guessing they were bigger boys than us as they were very keen on not moving and staying out in our seats.

If someone steals a bus, you can steal a train, then you wake up and you’ve had a wet dream.
Not a shock considering the progress they've made over the last few years. Big/good spend in Jan should secure another promotion. The cash those 2 guys have has probably pushed them as far as they can go really.
Everyone around us seemed to be Charlton supporters wearing colours. Didn't notice any 'neutrals' or Wrexham fans. Although seeing a kid coming in to the ground wearing a Millwall shirt is not a sight I will soon forget.
Did laugh at one well-known supporter barging through the queue for the NW entrance saying "Move out the way for a season ticket holder!!" while calling everyone else plastics.
Love their quote, "We view Red Dragon Ventures as a vehicle to invest in a world-class football club". I mean, it's Wrexham... And the more the Hollywood duo divest, the less relevant they become.

I have to confess that having finally been persuaded by that thread to start watching the series, I'm starting to admire these two. They shouldn't have been allowed to stuff so much money into a National League club, but those were the rules, or rather there weren't any, and it really looks like they're just having the time of their lives, and have developed a genuine feel for the place and the people. The good thing is that they have first mover advantage, there isn't endless demand for "Welcome to Tranmere" et al on streaming TV, and not every Hollywood star is Rob and Ryan. Good luck to them and FFS get the Football Regulator on the job before a load of less pleasant American "stars" try to imitate them.

Yeah, and they are both obviously sensible people who understand the business side of things and hired good people who know what they are doing rather than, say, get their kids to tell the mananger who to buy.
I honestly don't get the outrage abt Wrexham. The scarfs clearly weren't aimed at Charlton fans, but tourists. I'm sure there were a few dotted around, but the certainly weren't any near me in the upper north west quadrant. Me and my boy enjoyed the game and atmosphere and I think it got him a bit more interested in Charlton tbh. What I didn't enjoy was the absolute shambles of the ticket office yet again. I would complain, but I just can't be arsed. Moved my season ticket in the CE so I could get two together higher up for my boy to see better. Somehow they allocated my ticket to my dad and emailed it to him! I complained and was told "what's the problem, you've got the ticket, right". Yes, but it was sent to another person lol. When I got to the gate abt half 2 my boys ticket scanned and I was told the game was the previous day 🚫 the girl tried to tell me to go to the ticket office to sort it out, but there was no way I was doing that. Thankfully someone a bit more senior took control and let us through the gate, but seriously, sort it out! COYA

Do we need to invite some more investors onboard, to increase our transfer budget?
Looks like they made their money through medical devices - wonder if they want to bring their son in as Director of Analysis?
Bloody Wrexham, will they ever just fu*k off...
You can tell your grand children you saw the mighty Wrexham on their way to the Premier in years to come.
It was Brush Strokes v Deadpool.
I prefer Brush stroke personally even if Charlton Athletic can be like watching paint dry on a bad day.

I'd have said that was Deadpool...🤔
