At the moment we haven't got a win in us. It's exactly the same as the last three or four seasons. In fact i think we have the worst team of any of those seasons.

Strangely today we were the better side when we went down to ten men but Ahadme's shocking miss and that awful free kick at the end sums us up.

I'm Puzzled as to what Anderson brings to the team and Small is not a defender .

I'd say the season was over but looking over our shoulder , i think not.

Switched off after the sending off ....
  • Another season over before January. Wonder how long it will be before the investors start getting restless. Methven and co should be shitting themselves right now.
  • Disgrace Hylton gets so many minutes. Would love a reporter to ask him to justify that
  • Sixteen, but getting the last one in was nearly as painful as watching Charlton.
I did need a coat hanger to get them all back out though but all good now. Cheers

Wonder if he has an appearance fee slotted into his contract. Making a decent sum for 10 minutes work every week if so.

  • Need players in Jan. To many poor players in the side coupled with a terrible injury list. I'm not one, yet, calling for NJ's head, just swapping managers hasn't worked over the last few seasons, and anyway who is available that could change this around without spending money?
However, the current side have no fluidity, midfield is static going forwards, and the defence without Jones and Ramsay is poor.
Miles needs help, he needs someone to deliver balls into the box.
Once we went to 10 men we looked a bit better, but that's not saying much.
We must beat Burton and Walsall, this side needs confidence.  Finally the owners need to dig deep and get some playmaker's into the side.

Before new players we need a new manager to choose them. We can't afford to buy more over paid Sunday morning players.

Jones needs to do the right thing and walk away. He's yesterday's man who got extremely lucky at Luton. If it's true he was kicking off at one our players on the pitch at full time then he's not fit to manage this club.
And who do we get then? The desire for NJ to come here was overwhelming combined with a poisonous dislike of Appleton. And here we are again. He needs to do the right thing, dig in and find a way to start getting results. If he wants to go he should bloody well pay.

Think he was kicking off at one of their players
Disgraceful behaviour by a so call professional football manager.

Two very good chances in the second half for Leaburn and Ahademe both missed. Did not deserve anything from the game though. Can't believe how ineffective we are every game. Lost belief in NJ now. No sign of a system and players confidence rock bottom. Not sure he gets anything from the teams he puts out. Players not playing for him?
On a terrible run and nothing to excite the fans. Moving towards the relegation zone now and looking like last season all over again.
Nearly stopped watching after Docherty was sent off but I thought the 10 men played better and fought harder afterwards? No real quality out there and no chance of reaching the Playoffs with the squad we have.
Another disappointing weekend and I am not convinced we will perform any better against Burton on Tuesday.

why would we get any better players in January, the only reason to get players in is so we can guarantee to have 15 players available for a match.

  • Surely if we don’t win midweek Jones will be sacked.
  • At least the 10 men put in the effort, says it all when Gas can't find the net from 2 yards, we also have a manager who is embarrassing, and if his behaviour is unprofessional, if it's that bad, then he should be sacked, lose at Burton and Walsall and It could be the end for NJ

I do hope so, many pints will be enjoyed!

That free-kick was utterly brain-dead and yet performed by a striker who is supposed to be bringing experience and cleverness.
It wasn't brain dead, it was clever. The critique is it wasn't executed well enough.
  • I have created a new club policy free of charge although the Welsh version I will have to charge for Charlton.

  • NJ needs to go….but where do we go from here…
