Might not be popular on here but I'd drop leaburn for Crawley. Ruins our attacks by taking 10 touches before even picking his head up and rarely passes. Should play that starting team Tuesday.
I know he’s on a lean patch, but cricket is a completely different game mate.
  • Since the turn of the century we've been rubbish in the cups but decent (for the most part) in the league. Now it's the other way round.

So we beat Wallsall reserves! Does this mean we're not shit anymore?

Worries me I had to think for a second, as wondered who Crawley was!!

Opens the batting for England. Similar height to Leaburn...

We were good 2 years ago though. A mediocre league season, but that QF game at Old Trafford

On my way back home from the match.
I had absolutely no idea what to expect from today's game as predicting Charlton this season is tough.
So I'm happy to say I was delighted by the way we played.
In my opinion we dominated the first half.
Defended well under pressure for long periods 2nd half , and then punished them at the end.

Please play like this in our next few league games and try to reach the top 6.

League one is pony so all is possible.
Glad you all got the performance and the result that the trip deserved. Hope the journey home won't be as much of a trial as it was last week.

Bizarre squad selection again. Why's Hylton involved over Dixon and 2 left backs on the bench....
Dxon scored 4 goals against a weak non league side. League 2 defenders would be more likely to kick him to pieces.
I know an intelligent Charlton fan who went to the game and he said that Dixon is not ready for the first team.

4-0 win was a 'happy Valley' prediction result every match for years.

Hopefully he is well and has just retired from CL as he was overwhelmed by the Negativity as well as the poor play TBF.

Happy valley made Callum seem negative 😀
  • If Taylor doesn't start on Tuesday I have to question NJ's suitability as Manager.

I can't remember how to be satisfied with beating a L2 team.

Taylor and Coventry is clearly the best midfield combination, both worked hard and did their defensive duties, but also had some quality on the ball.

If you think about how you feel when we lose to them, you might get there.

I think they forget Gassan Ahadme scored a brace...

    We have found our level
Winning big away against a promotion chasing team from L2 suggest L2 is our level then, or is that just bollocks.
The promotion chasing team that rested 6 players you mean 😉

Doesn't count. Apparently he missed an open goal against Burton. It wouldn't have been an open goal for anyone else, but for a carthorse it was a gift horse.
  • First I've seen of Gassan's second goal, love that aggression to win that header as someone else has mentioned!!

If L2 is our level, why are we mid table in L1?

Edit. Sorry, just seen your emoji.
