For me it’s the speed / no hesitancy taking on the doubles when compared to how I remember the likes of Eric Bristow playing.

    No fear.
  • Is MVG with his conventional way of trying to see out legs, deliberately trying to lose or something?

That was only the average in set 2. Been pretty average other than that (by the usual standards)
  • MVG having his arse handed to him on a plate.

    Littler 4-0 up, 12 legs to 3.

MVG bust his score for the second time by fluffing his doubles and drifting into the wrong segment.

Painful to watch MVG on the doubles. He just doesn't look confident in hitting my target.

Littler not even having to play that well, MVG just gifting it to him at the moment

Can see a Taylor situation evolving with Littler - all the other players end up hating him as he dominates prize money for the next 10 years!

Is there anyone in the world who finds Rob and Romesh as entertaining as whoever is in charge of scheduling at Sky does?

Anyone know why they have so many breaks? It's not like the old days when they were on the piss all match.

    Adverts.
  • I suppose so but it seems to be the players who decide when they're gonna go for a little wander.

Only a matter of time now, cracking 3-0 set win to go 6-2 up

Breaks are at set times in TV events.

In matchplay they normally play blocks of 5 legs.

    Tonight they've had breaks after Sets 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8.

Littler is now 6-2 ahead so I imagine Set 9 will be the end.
  • Would be apt if he finishes on Double 10.

That or he'll sign off with a 9-darter.

Really want to see him achieve this, its all he's missing from the Championship apart from the trophy
  • The crowd need to come up with some new songs.
  • LITTLER WINS 7-3
  • Oh if only he'd done it with the two bulls!!

Throughly well deserved from Littler. What a first year on the pro tour!
  • I've only seen him from the RO16 against Joyce... But he's just been amazing since then
  • So happy for Luke, well done son!

Spoke well when interviewed, humble and didn't think he would go on to win everything in 2025. MVG also very gracious imho. Well done the Nuke !
