What a contrast of styles of ground the SCG is. The absolute concrete monstrosities with no style (unlike Adelaide) alongside the beautiful old colonial stands.
When i lived in Sydney i used to work not far from the North Sydney Oval which is where they put all the old colonial stands from the SCG - its a stunning old feel ground , you could almost be transported back 70 years.0 -

Over rate even worse today. Just half of the allotted overs bowled so far & we are just 15 mins away from tea. Can't even blame time taken up for wickets falling or DRS reviews.
If 6 penalty runs were given for every over not bowled by close of play then that might hurry them up a bit. Even without any rain today I doubt we'll get in much more than 80 overs today. Imagine England being given another 60 runs tonight !
