Reading about his supposed interest in Liverpool,  I see that ’As well as the north west, Musk also has relatives elsewhere in England’.
What if he had family in SE London / NW Kent?
Who would want Charlton’s current owners to contact him?

If if you don’t use Pay Pal, have a Tesla motorcar, and have never been on Twitter, Musk is an irrelevance7

Mans a complete nut job. Sounds perfect. Elon, Come on down.4

I've stuck with this fucking team through thick and thin. Mainly thin. It won't happen, of course - but if this incel bond villain came anywhere near my club he will have achieved what several decades of futility, uselessness, bang averageness and moving 200 miles away could not. I'd start supporting some Northern team.jimmymelrose said:Reading about his supposed interest in Liverpool, I see that ’As well as the north west, Musk also has relatives elsewhere in England’.

I quite enjoyed my School Meals. Especially when there were seconds and sometimes even thirds on the sponge pudding and custard.9

If Musk was anything to do with Charlton... I would not be. That's about as much as I can say without singlehandedly getting the thread closed down.jimmymelrose said:Reading about his supposed interest in Liverpool, I see that ’As well as the north west, Musk also has relatives elsewhere in England’.

I mean I still supported Charlton when Southall was in charge so I’m not sure there’s anyone who could own the club that would stop me supporting!Leroy Ambrose said:

I bet Elon never had it.0 -
I read his biography. He suffered severe childhood trauma himself through years of dreadful bullying in South Africa. When his family moved to America it started up again, Sadly.5

I dont think he has. He isnt the founder of Tesla (or PayPal) he didnt invent any of the inventions credited to Tesla. He (his company more than him) has relied on government funding, jumping on grant funded research projects to make improvements that would have simply been there for the next highest bidder. I dont think he can really be credited with any of that progress.Dazzler21 said:
No he's not. He has offered a lot to the world in terms of leading the charge (pun intended) on EV tech and also provides a lot to charities.seth plum said:If if you don’t use Pay Pal, have a Tesla motorcar, and have never been on Twitter, Musk is an irrelevance30 -

So Musk comes in, invests 200m into us, buys the stadium, we find ourselves in the Premier League in 3-4 years time, we're absolutely flying, he expands the stadium to 40k, we're big news everywhere because of our owner...........and you'd disappear to go and support someone else?Leroy Ambrose said:

That's not a website btw...I used to love pink custard, but haven't had it for 50 years! Especially on chocolate sponge or chocolate tart (where it used to melt some of the chocolate).Must make some.Anyway - back to popcorn.1 -
Being run by Elon Musk would be like Thomas Sandgaard on steroids. No thanks.10

Hope he keeps well away from this country we don't need his meddling. He has wrecked Twitter and has allowed masses of incorrect information to become mainstream.13

Wouldn't be on TV as X will have the broadcast rights by then and it would be the Tesla Super League World Series Final v the Champions of Saudi ArabiaChris_from_Sidcup said:

He hasn't done anything in 'EV tech'. He bought Tesla from its founders, and used (and continues to use) government subsidies to run his business. The taxpayer of the US is funding Musk - Tesla LOSES money selling cars. This is how they make 'profit':
https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/31/investing/tesla-profitability/index.html
And the only reason he donates to charities is for tax purposes - the same reason most billionaires do. he doesn't even do what's 'required' of him there, either:
