  • If it’s FB then it’s probably bollocks.
He might be a “beast” but I think that works in L1.
Don’t know of many beasts at Championship or above who have much success these days.
    He’s a poor man’s Chuks Aneke.

Isaac seems like a good biblical name also- anyone know any players called Gabriel or Zephaniah?
  • Although Olaofe was born in Lewisham he attended Wilmington Grammer School so lived locally you’d have thought so probably open to a move back home.
If this is true, I think this is a very Jones type of signing. So maybe some truth!

  • With the way the transfer market is going nowadays 1-2m is probably now the going rate for a good League 1 player. The money is quickly getting out of hand across the EFL and I'm not just talking about Birmingham, MK Dons paying £1m for Aaron Collins in L2 is crazy too. I know we haven't got anything across the line yet but I'm liking the approach of going for the best players we played against last season or young players that if they hit , there's still the opportunity to sell them on for a decent fee.

It's just down to Chapple and NJ to get the balance right, a sprinkling of championship knowhow will probably be mixed in too because as Rich pointed out yesterday on his podcast there isn't a huge amount of that.
