I reckon a new keeper is a cert. Pretty sure Mannion was only ever meant to be back up to Ruddy/Hein/Sinisalo/Davies but all four deals didn’t happen. WM has done well, particularly at claiming in the air, but the Championship is a different beast.
I wonder if he’ll return for one of the 4 who didn’t happen last summer? Maybe Karl Hein who is back at Arsenal after his loan in Spain ended.
Looks like they lost 18 of their last 19 games...must have been a miserable/character building loan for him! (Not talking about his personal performances, maybe he was amazing, but that is a tough run to be a part of).
The next season is remarkably close, ten weeks away, and probably reporting for training in about six weeks. I always fret that a signing from a distance away has to be distracted by uprooting and sorting themselves in our area. The Alfie May saga was partly about where he was going to live with his family. Tracey Leaburn is likely to have insight on this. For that reason I wonder if football agents, yes the agents supposedly with the players well being at heart, think about the challenge of settling in a new area, or do they prefer to play brinkmanship to the possible detriment of their players. Anyway, I would prefer to get things done in the next two weeks.

Been the main keeper for the team who’ve conceded 90 and have a goal difference 43 worse than any other team. No idea if it was his fault or not but it’s not a glowing season 😂
Have been impressed with Mannion and AMB this season. But if we can find even better then excellent.
Would rather they were our players and not loans, but thought the young Palace lad who’s been at Wimbledon this year looked excellent throughout the play offs.
I've no idea if he's any good, but by all accounts Valladolid's defence in front of him was absolutely awful.
Not sure where Mulligan would fit. Not big enough to play in a back three. Has he the pace to play RWB? Not seen that on his c.v. perhaps the ball carrying CM we need.
Definitely has the pace to play at wingback looking at clips of him very good at driving with the ball and taking it past players. Probably either coming in to play the Docherty role or as a more natural wingback if it does happen

Amari Bell leaving Luton on a free, very similar to Ramsay and may not come to be second choice but feel it’s someone we could look at
Amari Bell is left footed so would be competing with Gillesphey and Edwards rather than Ramsay. Wouldn't be surprised if we sign him given the obvious Luton connection
Wouldn't be surprised if you see a couple from the Scottish Leagues, Jones has a great track record of players from over the boarder!
Let's see what the owners have this window.. Personally, I think we need 5 or 6 good signings.. Certainly need to strengthen in the middle of the park, and the top of the pitch.. Not to worried about the Keeper. WM is good enough for the championship and the way we play!
I think we’ll go for a new GK. Mannion has been well protected, especially in recent games. I think there’s still question marks over how good his shot stopping is.
If we are in for a keeper and also looking north of the border, Mitov has had a decent season, capped by the cup win at the weekend.
Just looking at other younger players in Scotland, neither of these two who have been on loan at Hibs would surprise me, without knowing much about them:
Nectar Triantis - 6 ft 3 Greek/Australian defensive midfielder, 22 years old, regularly played for Hibs this season. Might add a physical presence to our midfield.
Mykola Kukharevych - 6 ft 4 Ukrainian striker with Swansea, 23 years old, 7 goals in 20 odd starts plus some sub apps. The type of striker NJ likes to develop perhaps.
I don't think we'll sign too many in their early 20s as NJ spoke about Championship experience, but we also know he'll want to add physicality and height to the team.
The Kelman love in is a bit strange to me. Yes, hes scored goals but this was his first season of doing so. Record before that was awful so not even remotely proven.
League 1 I would take a punt but Championship and are obvious lack of depth up top, it is too risky IMO.

Well that is news to me, has always been in my head a right sided defender, but someone to cover LB and the LCB spot and push Macca/Edwards he would fit

Nectar Triantis? I've seen enough, with a name like that, sign him up.
On loan at Hibs last season from Sunderland, 2 years left there. Can't imagine he will break into their prem squad.
Hibs want him back. He won their Young Player of the year award and was also in the WhoScored team of the season on stats:

He's still young and this was his breakout season. To be fair, it's hard to be a proven striker at 23. He's a very technical player and has a lot to his game, although he has never looked particularly threatening against us. I like him, but I agree that he's a risky punt for Championship football.
Now I know we should take all this with pinch of salt and who knows how the Gas deal was structured...but his devaluation is something!
Plus I reckon the £1.18m (if that is correct) was based on add-ons, so I've heard £300k upfront. Now we have been promoted we'll probably have to pay more for a player who literally did nothing baring late winner against Southend in the FA Cup.

Think he was injured for a chunk of the season, but was their best player... Either way, he comes back with his reputation improved and is now unfortunately most probably out of our range...

What will happen to all those useless lower league cloggers without him?

It was a while back but in 2020 we lost at home to Blackburn convincingly, and I felt he was the best player on the pitch.
Easy song as well.

Also Allan Campbell valued at £2m
