100% would take a draw.6

All need to be calm and apply some life perspective. Cool heads needed. Me..... I am fucking dreading it and in a right state and over the top about this game.2

It'll probably change close to KO, but at the moment I've got a "What will be, will be" mindset.
If we don't win promotion, then we just go again next year, as feels like on the pitch we're potentially moving in the right direction. Also if Cardiff have a poor start they will come knocking for Nathan Jones. But……it’s all about today, I’m nervy just down to Charlton thumping them 4-0 the other week. Would be typical Charlton and football to then lose this 2-00 -

I'm quietly confident we wont have a fire sale of outgoings as we've already seen the club turn down bids for TC, Jones and Leaburn if rumours are to believed - I think we'll sell individuals if the price is right (Reckon that could be TC), but don't think we'll sell just because we're offered a fee for the sake of it.6 -
I know its only low-mid 20s but relatively high temperatures this afternoon may rule out too intense a pressing game? Heads could boil over on both sides, including the dugouts, hopefully NJ has a position in the shade! Referee will do well to keep a cool head, could be some tired decisions from the officials.

I have a feeling too many fans are over confident for this one . They are not going to roll over and have their bellies tickled .I’d love to come away with a draw but if Jones , Small and Berry are back ( and I have big doubts about Small and Berry ) then who knows ?1-1 (Godden)5

My biggest worry at the moment is we'll win both legs of the Semi-Final, and then go into the Final needing to win a fourth game on the trot.
So dont mind too much if this game ends in a draw6 -

He's basically another Thogden/Goldbridge type.
Was a QPR fan but switched to Arsenal for social media purposes. He's now sitting there in a Charlton shirt, delivering a promo, despite being a fan of two other London clubs.
It's just shameless behaviour.
But the majority of the fanbase beyond an age demographic, am sure wont have a clue who he even isPapaPincus - has 515.5k on tiktok and 2.22k on YouTube. Has done content about Cameron Archer, Klopp and Exeter City.
Has talked about the mental health side of social media (so now I can see what attracted the club to him).
Also done interviews with Akinfenwa and Dean Huijen1 -
Me and my nutty laws of averages is having a tough time coping with the fact no home team has won yet.
Along with Wycombe being due a result, I’m now sitting here thinking the home team is also due a result.
Think I need to cut all that out and just focus on our game as a standalone1 - Sponsored links:

So nervous just cleaned house top to bottom. Hasn't helped. Karzee is spotless though.5

I’m feeling fairly calm. Barring a complete disaster then we’ll still have an opportunity to correct any issues with the result today at the Valley on Thursday. I don’t expect us to lose, but if we do, we shouldn’t panic.2
-
Just hope the players aren’t as complacent as some of our fans seem to be. Will be a real battle and they’ll be looking for revenge so I’d be very happy with a 0-0 to take back to The Valley.1

Feel physically sick and angry , the body is going in to a lockdown situation of pure anger and hatred of everyone and everything , I just want this shithouse league to be a thing of the past. Sick to death of the genuine patheticness of our club accentuated by the last 15+ years of the poxy local rivals being light years ahead of our crap .
i fear and am expecting failure 3-0 loss today, our fans crying about the ref , the Wycombe fans having the temerity to celebrate, the weather , the facilities , everything except that we naused it , then the well Sheff Wednesday came back from 4-0 bollox to follow , forget it this is done at 2-0 never mind 3 (great attitude , fuck off it’s just how I’m seeing it )
Also when talking of the play offs , ok it wasn’t a promotion and we were playing at Selhurst but it was for a place at the top table, it was the first ever play offs why do we ignore that historic moment of probably one of The best ever moments watching Charlton. Yes it was years ago but so was 1947 .
Happy Sunday , you’ve been warned .Prepare for misery …. Saying that I’m quietly confident in top two next year 🤪12 -
Feeling nervous now. Just hope we’ve got at least 2 of the 3 back in (of Jones, Small and Berry). Ideally all 3.
RE the video. It is a shocker. I work in the ‘creator/influencer industry’ and this is an own goal. Any fan young enough to be a ‘target’ of this video will recognise the person in the video, and will recognise him as a QPR/Arsenal fan. They’ll think this is confusing/a bit desperate and certainly won’t watch it thinking Charlton are a club they should go and support as a consequence. More likely to be sending it to their mates in a group chat to laugh at.
I agree with other comments that in the grand scheme of things, this doesn’t really matter - but that doesn’t mean something like this should be immune of criticism given social media is the primary way for the club to advertise and present itself to both existing and new fans.3 -
Not nervous about the game. Bit anxious about the 100 mile each way drive on my own though.0

I’m off to yoga, in the outdoors, whilst a harp is being played. It’s part of the annual fiddle fair. I hope it calms me down………. I’m not confident of that either 🙄🫣😩1 -
Feeling suitably sanguine about our prospects. Laws of averages and superstitions have no bearing on what really transpires after all.
I don't think we'll go four consecutive wins to end the season though, and think tonight's game will finish 0-0, based on law of averages and me wearing my lucky sunglasses of course 😎

The nerves only go at kick off when the reality kicks in.
Others don’t see us as a pushover and that is a source of hope.3 -

This trailer is simply just b*****s, a real shocker, just cringe…no emotion, energy, passion. Huge own goal picking the gormless prat to deliver the lines, music terrible , editing rubbish.
Sack the prat in CAFC comms dept who commissioned and signed it off. Along with the ticket fiasco, that’s two own goals already and we have plenty of time for more!0 -
I felt confident going against Doncaster when we got promotion.
Felt hopeless going into the game agasint shrewsbury.
I'm somewhere in the middle today3 -

Week ago I was very cautious, now extremely confident, 2 good wins in coming Wembley here we come.1

Stig said:I'm not getting any of this nervousness. We are the better team: We finished higher than them in the league, we had a better second half to the season and a better run-in. We also did better in the head to heads, both against Wycombe and against the other play off teams. There's no reason why we can't get a good result today, but regardless of that, we'll still have a home fixture to play that is likely to suit us even better. Have a great day everyone and go into this with confidence, because we've every right to.
Which probably means we will go 2-0 down and be fighting to get one back before the home leg.1
