Really don’t get Wycombe tactics they were more content in cancelling us out then winning the game ? Playing our system and style also they learnt from Lincoln keeping the ball in the air stopping us getting it down and there keeper has to make two excellent saves to keep them in it …. The ref was a disgrace Wycombe should be playing with 10 and Kone suspended on Thursday.

Wycombe are one of those big, tough, cynical, niggly, bullying teams. Putting in tackles on the edge of legality while dropping like Jordan’s knickers when an opponent gets within smelling distance, and inevitably fooling most of the shit refs in this division.
    Unlikeable pricks.

They should have finished the game with 10 men as well
    Probably 9

Did you mean to say 9 men?

    Worried about Ramsay's injury.

Wycombe a thoroughly hateable bunch of cloggers. Hope we fucking ruin them.
It’s bizarre because they played some lovely football in the first half of the season

What a dreadful game of football.  Horrible to watch.  I'm glad I don't have to watch Wycombe every week!!

It certainly made a difference when Small came on. It added a better threat from both wings.
He made a huge difference but would like to see him get outside and use his right.

Stood up to their bully boy tactics. Awful refereeing.

We needed a spark somewhere. TC needs to stop cutting back.

Thought we defended well & that kind of game shows you why having the second leg at home is definitely an advantage on paper. Aneke back into the squad as well after his ban adds a different dimension to scare Wycombe. Let’s hope we complete the job after 90 (or 120) minutes.

I suspect Wycombe will be as physical if not more so on Thursday.

It does seem to set back TC a bit as an example.

Hopefully an early booking for them from a decent ref would help us.
The ref will be under pressure from 25k home fans though, so they likely won't get away with as much as they did tonight.

If there was VAR, you could argue they might have ended with 9 men.

Good result. Thought Small looked a threat when he came on and got the ball, relentless chasing for Godden, Campbell struggled, but still a danger when he’s facing goal. Some long ball head tennis for most of the match, but we had a few opportunities to take a win. 0-0, a sold out Valley, confidence we had the upper hand towards the end of the game, and hopefully we can get the job done to move on to Wembley. Big effort lads! Come on!

Not too much to like about that match, but I did like that we stepped up a gear ten mins from the end, whilst they looked knackered. Bodes well for Thursday I think. If it's still even at full time, i reckon we'll have the ability to beat them in extra time. That said, I still think we can do it in the 90.

That co-comms infuriated me. So glad that will be the only playoff game I watch on TV, whether we are at the final or not

According to the co-commentator Charlton take Wycombe back to VALLEY PARADE on Thursday.

Anyone knows the train timetable to Bradford 😄

I’d like to see TC given a free role behind Godden. Just let him roam and pull players around.

I’m ten miles away, you can all stay at mine.
  • Awful game. And if it had been an ordinary league game we'd be moaning our heads off.

But it wasn't. And in the context of a play off game a very good performance.

Wycombe very physical tonight. But proud of the team for the way they stood up to it. Huge credit to the defence tonight.

We finished much stronger. Small coming on made a big difference.  Let's hope he can play 90 minutes on Thursday.

And the ref was bad. Very  very  bad.

lol! Bowyer: "Wycombe will struggle at the Valley, as they're not used to playing in front of so many people"
When they mentioned Wycombe got promoted in 2020 in front of no fans, I just assumed that was normal service, completely forgot about Covid...
The stadium looked half empty by the 85th minute!
