A point is a point. Decent enough result in the big picture of things.
  • A point gained.

take the point builds the gap on third. Sod the title.

Need our forwards to start scoring though big time. Might be best to give Kermy a rest on Tuesday, try BWP and Haynes together
  • I hate Tranmere.

    Just thought I'd share that.

    stats addicks first:

    possession 54% - 46%
    shots on 6 - 6
    shots off 6 - 5
    corners 9 - 3

    GOALS 1 - 1
  • If Haynes is fit
  • Take that.
Yup. But the strikers really - I mean really - have to start scoring. Now ten games since any of them did. Can't rely on Morro at corners and JJ from free-kicks to get all the goals!

    always 1-1.
  • I shall always remember Tranmere for their Draws.

    That's 5 draw's in a row against them now.

  • Sounded like Haynes is injured. 11 points off third, 2 games in hand, no bother!

Win at home, draw away. That's always been the philosophy.

A point on the road, 5th 1-1 draw running against them, I'll take it.

Shame our strikers still aren't scoring. Did we miss JJ today? Is this our blip?

A point is a point. I hate Tranmere, let's hope we never play them again. Need to smash Rochdale now.

From the commentary it sounded like Hamer once again kept us in the game. Another point gained and maybe a tad worried that our strikers are not scoring but goals are coming from everywhere else. Bring on the 'Dale!
  • This is where the inability of our strikers to score is costing us points. Either of those sitters for Kermy would have done the job. Sounded like Sir CP did the business at half time.

Hmm I didn't like the Pritch/Green wing combo. Green or Waggy on the right, Jacko or Evina on the left. If we have to leave JJ out again I think we need to consider a left footed loanee for the spot.
  • though getting a draw away is obviously a good thing and keeps the points coming but it did sound like we had a fair few chances to get that winner.
  • A point gained and one of our rivals lost. A good weekend all in all.

    One for the pink Lions:

After Bradley's shenanigans today, reckon they'll switch their support to us? (Seth posted this. Not me.)

16 games remaining to clinch promotion.

11 points clear of the MASSIVES with 2 games in hand.
    13 points clear of Huddersfield.
    16 points clear of Franchise.
    20 points clear of Stevenage.

It's totally in our own hands and we don't have to rely on others failures.
(Except the Wendies' - their failures are almost guaranteed)

Happy with a draw against the draw specialists. Just glad to get this game out of the way. That's another point gained on Waaahdnesday and that's all that really matters
  • Only 6 clear of Sheff Utd now. I know only promotion matters but it'd be a shame to miss out on champions. When did Sheff Utd last lose?

If as sounds likely, he has done his hamstring, then we won't be seeing Haynes for 4-6 weeks. If you are leaving Yann out then it will be Clarke coming in.

Might see Hayes come in from the cold.

If we go up at the end of the season I personally couldn't give a shit if we don't see another goal from a forward all season.
  • Who's shirt is that? Looks like it says McLean...

We are at that stage of the season where the teams at the top (e.g. us) get a little comfy & complacent and the teams down at the bottom start to fight like trapped animals for their survival or at least to beat the slickers at the top.
Sorry to state the obvious.. BUT I will. A good result is needed against Rochdale to at least calm the nerves of those Addicks Fans of a nervous disposition. A few changes for Rochdale .. Hamer, Solly, Morrison, Taylor, Wiggins, Wagstaff, Hollands, Hughes, Pritchard, Clarke, Haynes (if he's not fit then Kermorgant)
