    When you think we've only really lost to an Ibra show in a friendly under Hodgson, beating Brazil & Italy along the way, i'm not sure why every one lacks confidence. We've got good strength in depth.

    Of course it will be hostile, get an early goal and I think it will be comfortable.

    I'd rather Parker was playing in midfield and sitting in front of the back four, best tactic is to soak up the inevitable early pressure.

    Nice to see England attacking right from the off and not taking the usual 1/2 hour to warm up. Rooney and Welbeck are working well together but I get the feeling that Lescott is having to nurse Smalling and look after him

    good first half ... competitive and not at all too aggressive or 'dirty'

    Agreed. Wasn't sure what he offers but he's been excellent first half. Pace and great first touch.

    I think Welbeck has been decent but been very impressed with Carrick, the two centre backs and especially Rooney.

    Don't really rate Cleverley but his support play has been good first half.

    Think that's as good a display from England as I've seen for a while.

    Not heard any monkey noises, but looks like a few things are being thrown. Mind you, some of it looks like screwed up paper. i'm sure I spotted the Scotland flag hanging up!

    Poor start to second half - stopped closing down in midfield and at the front. Need to liven up again.
