People on here have friends who support clubs from all over the country. I don't understand what your problem is if I'm honest. Spend your time doing something more productive than questioning the discussion.Bournemouth Addick said:

And that's the most important thing.stonemuse said:To be honest I couldn't give a toss what other clubs think of us ... especially the Nigels!
Haters will always hate.
Off to London bridge now before THE south London derby. I expect you'll all be cheering us on as we stick a nail in millwalls coffin.
3 cheers for palace.... All together now!0 -

Haha THE South London derby which Millwall barely turn out for and Palace always struggle to sell out a solitary tier for...maestro said:

Who has played in Millwall's 2 biggest home attendances? Charlton? Oh okay then.
Good to see that on a day of such a BIG SL derby with 2 GREAT SL clubs, you're on Charlton's forum. Subliminal compliment? We don't need it. We already know.
Crystal Paralysis, south London since 1965. CAFC, south London since their formation. We have a real identity. Run along lad.0 -

They are going to gather in the Barrowboy and Banker and call 999 on speakerphone to ask for handholders down to South Bermondsey.ValleyGary said:2pm meet for the Police escort is it?

Haha PLEASE don't act like Palace are a bigger club than Charlton. It's funny at first but you might start to believe it after a while.maestro said:
Same as palace? Keep dreaming.BR7_addick said:Probably the same as Palace to the northerners, decentish sized club that have had spells in the PL.
Most would see you as a pretty harmless club. Not very passionate fans, bit dull and irrelevant unfortunately.
Those clubs closer to you regard you as train spotters or clowns with an obsession for sh1t. I was at the valley when 2 charlton fans picked up horse crap and threw it at palace fans. Must be that marsh man mentality that your fans seem to have.
More major honours? Charlton. More seasons in top flight? Charlton. Higher average league position? Charlton. Highest ever league position? Charlton. Higher average attendance? Charlton. Highest ever attendance? Charlton. Most England players produced? Charlton. Most soulless club with no real sense of identity and an alarmingly welcoming attitude towards cheerleaders/crap chants/overseas mascots/"ultras"? Palace, Palace, Palace.

good luck palace tonight and bad luck on saturday
i mean they'll be guaranteed a play off spot and then go and help keep millwall up the bells by turning over p'boro prolly0 -
Fair enough, perhaps I was a bit harsh on you for your first discussion and I apologise.RedIsTheColour said:

In my defence however this thread was always going to attract trolls like Maestro using it to wind people up.0 -
The Nigel Ninjas, I like that.
I expect if Maestro bumps into any howwible Millwall supporters today he'll have shit dripping from somewhere else.0 -

"You want to be South London, but you're not...."0
-
"South London derby is the name given to a football derby contested by any two of Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace, Millwall and AFC Wimbledon, the four Football League clubs based in South London, England. It is sometimes more specifically called the South East London derby when played between Charlton and Millwall."maestro said:

To be the highest supported London club in the Football League is a massive accolade, which we are rightly very proud of. I expect this will continue next season even when QPR come down.0
-
Nolly palace will be there at 2 and then gone by qtr past after taking pics to send on around 6-630 saying where are you
I want you to beat them maestro but I hope you and your spivvy lot get a lesson for the scumbag shit fans you are and I hope it hurts in the morning having your head shoved up your arse0 -
Old bill will be busy tonight escorting palace fans from their seats to the bar/toilets and back again.................0
-
Well we average more than they do have the Prem, so I'd say that's a given.cafctom said:To be the highest supported London club in the Football League is a massive accolade, which we are rightly very proud of. I expect this will continue next season even when QPR come down.

I actually liked this comment. It's like when two gangs join forces against a common enemy. I'll be cheering palace on tonight and go back to hating them tomorrow. Good luck nige.maestro said:

Back to the discussion, around here we are considered pretty similar to Norwich. I'd probably say Norwich is one of the most closest matched clubs to Charlton that I can think of in terms of size, community, friendly supporters etc.0 -
Is that true mate? Laughable if so. Like, really laughable.Greenie Junior said:13,000 been sold including palace
