At first I read that Angeldust post about offers for players being cash offers for our players, two being close. Got me all worried thinking Yann and Wiggins were off.
Then I read it back and it appears that they are cash offers from us to other clubs. We may actually be about to offer REAL money for a player. I am so excited7 -
Their final game of the regular season is March but then the league splits and the playoffs run from March to May.harveys gardener said:Are all our loans 6 months? Because I think the loan window closes 27th march and SL final game is 16th March.

Over the Wordsworth affair last window ?
But to be fair normally his information has been very reliable, don't think there will be any movement before tonight's game.

This. Stop buggering about Belgian-style Monsieur Roland and pull your finger out of the dam!The Red Robin said:Get SCP a new contract along with the rest of the squad instead of dicking about signing players no one has ever heard of. What's the hold up?
(or was that in Holland?)

Its good that the same news is coming through via differnt sources
From weds we should be hearing real positives and that's pleasing11 -

According to the Belgian media, another Standard Liege player could be on his way to Charlton Athletic. Having already brought in Anil Koc on loan, it is reported that the Addicks are close to signing Reza Ghoochannejhad, a striker born in Holland but playing for the Iran national team.0 - Sponsored links:

Sorry if this has been posted before but it seems we have been looking at him since before the takeover.

Born in Iran, but lived in Holland since he was a kid, so probably has an EU passportHenry Irving said:Rothko said:The football league rule book says
52.2.2 No Club may sign more than 4 loan Players (Standard, International, Emergency or Youth) from another Club (or club) in any Season. An additional Youth Loan Player may be added to this figure.
OR as a non-EU citizen he doesn't qualify for a work permit? He's been playing in Europe for a while but FA rules are different to those in Belgian or elsewhere.

@stallion1974 Focus at the moment is on end of window. Sounds promising that they want CP to stay.1 -
Thanks!LargeAddick said:
took me a few reads too. Means Bournemouth have bid for Yann and Wiggins, one of their old boys who isn't actually old. We have to hope that both our players accept OUR offer, assuming their is one to accept.Bolderhumphreyreid said:
I've read that at least 25 times and I can't work out what it means. Please explain!O-Randy-Hunt said:
Its not a rumour though mate. Bournemouth have bid for yann and one of there old boys who isn't actually old. Just got to hope they accept our offer.cafcsinger said:Dubious rumour about Yann leaving and this place goes into meltdown, he won't leave anytime soon.

@RichCawleySLP: Understand #afcb bid for Yann Kermorgant last week. Bid in region of £400k. #cafc0
-
Christ. Out of contract in summer so that's an absurd offer...0
-
They can poke that4
- Sponsored links:
-
The cost of being relegated to League 1 is far more than £400k.5
-
Its about 150k more than I was told it was0
-
We couldn't replace him for 400K, with ValleyGary on this.1
-
Powell and Yann signing new deals would be a huge boost the club needs1
-
Do the club have the option to automatically extend Yann's contract or not? I've seen it posted, but is it true?0
-
Sell him for 400k he is 32 and out of contract3
-
Me too - hopefully with the bid being apparantly last week we've had enough time to draft a response consisting of the words "do" and "one".Richard J said:jac52 said:Christ. Out of contract in summer so that's an absurd offer...
Also for a player age 32.
However, he is so valuable to us I hope it is rejected
Let's hope he turns up tonight (literally and with a performance!)1 -
Ask for 500k and a player coming the other way imo0
-
Decent bid considering he's out of contact in the summer, I'd still reject it though.4
