    The more I watch of Gomez the more I think of him. When he fills out he's going to be a premier league player no question.

    I am biased, but I can't think of an England player in that final who played better than Gomez for the whole game.

    First time I have seen Joe Gomez. He is obviously very talented with a big future ahead but I would think he needs a couple of years further development including a L2 or L1 loan before getting near our first team. But I look forward to seeing him, hopefully, be a star for us in 2 or 3 years.

    Tweeted him yesterday to congratulate on winning Under 17 tournement, and mentioned he should celebrate by signing a Charlton contract, he favourited the tweet hoping that means he wants to sign one lol

    He should be involved in our first team squad this season - no question. He's on Shelvey/Poyet level.

    He's a future Premiership player IMO, we'll be lucky to keep hold of him. I really hope we can!

    Agree about his potential but at the moment he's still a little weak in the air IMO, a big bully forward could knock a couple of stuffings out of him. I'd let him finish growing and start to fill out before we regularly play him like Poyet.

    Joe gomez birthday today.
    Could be a crucial day for the club if we manage to get his signature. Have a horrible feeling he isn't staying though. Offered big bucks by Chelsea apparently

    Just watching a replay of final on EuroSport. Might be putting pressure on him but Gomez looks a really composed and tough centre back. Could he be a starter for us next season?
