wow, calm it down a bit. To be honest I couldn't even understand what you have been posting half the time as your spelling and grammar is atrocious.
Agreed. However, whilst we're on the subject, it's "are", not that I'm being picky or anything.

There are too many commas in that sentence, it doesn't read well.

Watching Gomez play on Eurosport.. He looks really calm
    And composed on the ball.

Looks a really good prospect! Any idea when his contract runs out and have we offered him a new one yet?

He can sign his first pro deal when he's 17 later this month. I'd be surprised if we're not looking to get him signed up on a long term contract as soon as possible.

For now he'll be on a scholarship/youth contract until the end of next season, as he's a 1st year u18 this season.

Thanks @Scoham ... lets hope Kasey Palmer hasn't had a word in his ear about how good Chelsea are!

Just put the game on and he could have given a goal away. Commentators said it was his first mistake of the game.

One of my customers is a Chelsea scout and was sent to the FA Youth Cup game against Arsenal, to do a report on him.

Cant be doing thinking about Gomez and Poyet being poached before we see their true value in an Addicks shirt.

    Sticks head in sand.

Chelsea et al pay 6 figure sums to teenagers who will never get near their first team. Completely understandable why young men and their families would take up these offers, especially given how many teenagers get dumped from their clubs. Poyet may be an exception because his dad is wealthy and the family can take a different view.

Probably been looking at him for a few years now at least. Wouldn't be surprised if they tried to sign him at the same time they got Palmer.

Hopefully the chance of first team football in the near future will keep him here. If he goes to Chelsea it could be years before he's even on their bench, if he even makes it that far.

  • GK. Pope
    RB. Solly
    CB. Lennon
    CB. Gomez
    LB. Edwards
    LW. Harriott
    CM. Poyet
    CM. Cousins
    RW. Wilson
    S. Piggot
    S. Ahearne Grant

    Subs
    Holmes Dennis
    Fox
    Muldoon
    Phillips

I know it won't happen and they won't all go on to fulfil their potential but if we kept these kids for 3 years to see them come through and blossom plus add a few extras they could get us promoted. What a start to their careers it would be, and plenty of time for them to make a truck load of cash thereafter.

The dream. Crewe managed it last year http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22278754 Only took 30 years.

Any heard anything on Muldoon? He was only on a 6 month contract which was extended until the end of this season.
  • Nick Pope cant be classed as homegrown. He was signed from another first team (Bury Town) and attended the academy at Ipswich. He
has probably spent very little time at Sparrows Lane considering his loan moves. How many appearances for youth or reserves has he actually made?

Going to be a class keeper but we cant claim him as homegrown.
