    Not yet. His birthday was Friday and he was recently away with England. There wouldn't have been any official news over the weekend or on a bank holiday.

    Why shouldn't Fabregas go to Chelsea? If Barcelona don't want him then he'll go where he can get the best deal for him, same as any other job i.e. Dervite, Hamer etc.

    I asked Paul Green (Newshopper reporter) last week if there was any update on Gomez signing a contract, his reply was a simple not yet

    Any latest on Joe Gomez's contract situation?

    Looks a real talent and would be a shame to lose someone of that quality with our needs at centre back.

    He has another year on his current contract but it is key we sign him on a longer one..
