  • its been known since the last transfer window that we need a decent striker to play alongside Igor but no nearer with less than 6 hours of this transfer window left.

    BONKERS.

think I may go & support Millwall - at least they know they are in trouble & are trying to do something about it.

My mouse was hovering over the flag button with that comment.

Is this for real? Again taken from twitter

DEAL DONE: Man United have confirmed that defender Marnick Vermijl has joined Charlton Athletic. Undisclosed fee. "

Sky sports says he's going to Wednesday.
    Wiki already updated as well.
Yes just looked him up. they don;t hang around updating. Only made two league cup appearances for Man U, but spent last season on loan to Dutch club NEC, so who knows if he's any good.
What concerns me is that we keep being linked with right backs if the rumours are to be believed so that could mean that either Wilson or Gomez might be on the move. I sincerely hope that is not the case with the latter.

    This goalkeepers free.

Paul Rachubka has left Oldham Athletic after his contract at the club cancelled.
The 31-year-old left on good terms, saying: "I have enjoyed every minute of my time with the football club and I'd like to thank all the fans for their support. I will continue to look out for the results and wish the club all the best for the future."

    Just a rumour

“I’m currently staying at the Clarendon Hotel in Blackheath and I’ve just seen former Arsenal (and briefly my club, West Ham) starlet Jeremie Aliadiere sitting at breakfast with Charlton Director Katrien Meire. Looks like Charton are hoping his mercurial skills will arrest their slide down the Championship....”

    .

I can put this one to bed right now. Aliadiere is the Manger at the Clarendon, and was interviewing Katrien for a Chambermaid job.

    Nothing to see here...Move on.
Who is it you want to bed, Aliadiere or Katrien?
I would usually say Katrien without hesitation......but she has to start being honest with me before I consent.

Cue Etheridge recalled to Oldham and Charlton scrabble around for a replacement, eventually signing 4th choice at Carl Zeiss Jena.

You just beat me to it... He's a brilliant header of the ball and would cause chaos in Championship Defences...

And we let gorgeous George go with no replacement. Surely roly has something up his sleeve. Doesn't he.?

Probably a bunch of flowers for Katrien, well he's a magician isn't he with all his balls up in the air right now.

Can only see him terminating his contract in New York to come back to England due to unfinished business.

He once said he'd like to finish his career with us so maybe, just maybe, he's coming home.

    He'll now sign for Everton.

34 years old. Got some of that 'Championship Experience' though.

That's like asking your mum if you can have a snack and her saying "you can have an apple if you're hungry"
  • Let's hope Katrien has got some bloody good excuses lined up.

The rest of the season will stretch out like an eternity if we don't strengthen at all.
Come on Roland - this is your chance to be a hero.

*THIS* is the kind of "Championship experienced" signing we need to make. Not Danny bloody Collins...

On a train at Tunbridge Wells. No sign of Katrien.
  • Let's hope Katrien has got some bloody good excuses lined up.

Quote from the coming Thursday press conference, "We put in a few bids but were outbid or the player didn't want to join us". Usual lying crap we now expect.
