Seems she'll talk to any media company going but not the club's own supporter's trust.2
-
I'm loving this girl more and more!
What other club would you see the CEO joining in the chants with the fans?
She really seems to have a passion for the club, loving it!4 -
She would have known the Sky cameras were at the game for this feature. Just saying.10

She makes more noise than the rest of the west stand put together.5
-
I bet all the West Standers moan at her for singing.6
-
Unlikely - I imagine she was emailing a supporter in reply to his / her question about the shade of red on next season's shirtspaulie8290 said:wonder if it was roland she was texting at the time Luzon mentioned the unnamed player who was starting

Can anyone that sits in the West stand near the directors box confirm if Katrien is that animated every game? Put this argument straight to bed.The Red Robin said:She would have known the Sky cameras were at the game for this feature. Just saying.

wouldn't matter mate, they'd just knock her for not wearing a replica kit instead.ValleyGary said:

Yeah, I do and she goes more mental than that when the cameras ain't rolling and she knows all the words to the Norwich song!7
-
Well she was sat right behind the press box at Wigan and I saw her leaning over rows of people to dish out high fives when we scored there.ValleyGary said:

Sky probably haven't promoted season ticket boycotts and issued demands and ultimatums to her to be fair. The club's "supporters" trust are self- elected and not representative of the majority of Charlton supporters (given their membership numbers) so Katrien's failure to engage with them in the manner they demand is not a slight on the Charlton fanbase. The Red Robin said:Seems she'll talk to any media company going but not the club's own supporter's trust.

When did the trust promote a season ticket boycott?RodneyCharltonTrotta said:

I think it's quite funny she's ignoring the trust, probably sits in her office reading this and laughing about itRodneyCharltonTrotta said:

According to other supporters you're wrong.3 -
I heard that she runs with a tidy little firm of herberts out of the Morris Walk estate in Woolwich, proper lively.5
-
Can someone remind me what the Trust want to speak to her about ?
I thought they would only speak to Roland anyway (?) even though one of their only 4 proposals on the most / fairly recent survey was to get rid of him.5 -
Probably because I dare to disagree. Fair enough if she does. Wouldn't trust her though.ValleyGary said:

The G21 did. 5 members of which make up 9 members of the trust board, including the chair who gave a less than flattering interview to the BBCThe Red Robin said:

2 of the trust board don't reside in England and therefore I imagine don't attend many games, the "elected" chair also has a daughter on the board and is touted as representative of the youth.
No disrespect meant to the individuals but when you view it like that it does seem a very narrow wedge of Charlton support claiming to represent the wider fanbase when in fact it does not at all. The majority of the board to me appear to be members of the G21, their family members and people living outside England who don't go to many games.
Katrien's refusal to entertain their demands and agendas therefore should not be taken as slant against charlton's fanbase or the wider support of which I see myself and as someone who has no common agenda with the current trust as it is.
I will heavily caveat this by saying I am sure they are all very lovely people and well intentioned, and I sincerely mean that.
It just doesn't resonate that such a narrow selection can represent such a wide fanbase and therefore any failure to engage with them is not necessarily a slant against Charlton fans.

Steve Perfect, Ken Sinyard, Sue Townsend, Ben Tegg, Jeremy Watkins, Matt Wright
I don' know which of them are in any way official within The Trust though.1 -
there was a blog a while back in which it was mentioned that she gets very animated during the game so it is not a one-off for the camerasValleyGary said:

Unbelievable. KM appears on Sky Sports and by most accounts she comes across well - and we're thrown back to the trenches again. 'She only sings when the cameras are on her' 'Oh no she doesn't' 'She speaks to Sky but won't speak to the Trust' - 'Why should she as they have threatened her?' blah blah blah!!
She really is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.
Did the piece come across well? 'Yes because ...' or 'No because ...' is all we really need (especially for those who didn't see it).
Maybe too much to ask for on here but could we add just a hint of objectivity?16 -
At no time have the trust, or anybody else promoted a season ticket boycott. Absolutely the Trust does not represent the majority of Charlton Supporters given the membership numbers, but of all the groups of people who like to organize themselves in Charlton supporter branches or whatever, the supporters trust is easily the largest. Charlton Life is possibly a comparable grouping in terms of size of Charlton Support getting together in some way, but Charlton Life is a broad church in itself, and not representative of one particular strand of supporter opinion.RodneyCharltonTrotta said:

I am not sure what you mean by 'in the manner they demand'.
Anyway, if there really is such a fissure between the board and the support manifested in the Trust, it isn't of the Trust's choosing, and anyway I suspect doesn't exist.
Maybe it is wise to ignore a body like the Charlton Supporters Trust, but a) I don't think the trust is being ignored, and b) others in business can explain the wisdom of possibly alienating some customers.2 -
