Seems she'll talk to any media company going but not the club's own supporter's trust.

Sky probably haven't promoted season ticket boycotts and issued demands and ultimatums to her to be fair. The club's "supporters" trust are self- elected and not representative of the majority of Charlton supporters (given their membership numbers) so Katrien's failure to engage with them in the manner they demand is not a slight on the Charlton fanbase.
When did the trust promote a season ticket boycott?
    The G21 did.
You are mistaken on this one.

This lot did - Jonathan Bangs, Steve Clarke, Peter Cordwell, Steve Dixon, Rick Everitt, Mick Gebbett, Richard Hunt
Corinna Huxley, Glynne Jones, Dominic Matthews, Kevin Nolan, Hazel Nolan, Craig Norris, David Norris, Nigel Pamment
Steve Perfect, Ken Sinyard, Sue Townsend, Ben Tegg, Jeremy Watkins, Matt Wright

I don' know which of them are in any way official within The Trust though.
    No, this is not true.

Excuse me, but NO ONE promoted a S/T ban, as well you know.

Airman Brown, put the question on here and went with the majority verdict, who thought it was not a good idea.

    So please stop peddling mis-information.

She would have known the Sky cameras were at the game for this feature. Just saying.

Can anyone that sits in the West stand near the directors box confirm if Katrien is that animated every game? Put this argument straight to bed.
there was a blog a while back in which it was mentioned that she gets very animated during the game so it is not a one-off for the cameras
    Jim Lang 20 Feb:

Blagged a ticket in directors box and wanted to share a few things:

    1. Katrien gets proper into the game, sings along with a few of the songs and really celebrates when we score. Great to see.

    2. Chris Powell is a glorious man, came over to say goodbye to everyone of the charlton contingent when he left in 80'ish minute.

    3. Lee Clark Blackpool manager thinks Guy Luzon is mental. Spent more time watching Guy rather than the football and describes him as 'a reet pot noodle, this lad'.

Yeah, I do and she goes more mental than that when the cameras ain't rolling and she knows all the words to the Norwich song!

Should she not know all the words to the Charlton songs

I was in the directors box for the Rotherham game. She was almost in tears when we scored - she went loopy.

Say what you like about her but she absolutely "gets" being a CHARLTON fan. She's immersed in the club no doubt in my mind

It's nice to read that Katrien is proper Charlton, nobody is perfect but this is a nice change from all the crap that people have thrown at her. I am always moaning at Roland's lack of communication, but when I looked at the plans for the Academy/training ground I was delighted to see what he is doing. Keep the faith people, last Saturday I watched the best second half performance that I can remember.

    Really enjoyed watching that.

Have always like Katrien, how many CEO's of a club would be so down to Earth and happily involved. She has done alot and continues to smile whilst doing so.

As for the topic of a woman running the day to day of a club, it has never been a topic for me. Colour, nationality or gender play no part in being happy with a club member at Charlton, we all want success, so we are all the same.

She just seems so bloody normal. Reckon if the Trust invited her round for tea and a chat she would bring the digestive biscuits.

Just seen the video and to me it just confirms that this woman loves Charlton and all of us should be thankful that we have a CEO who only has our best interest at heart.
I've seen her in the directors box and at away games and can confirm she is always animated and she goes through the ringer just like us when we are not doing so well.
Ask yourself , who would you rather have running the club , Katrien or Manchester City supporting Michael Slater ?

I think she's a breath of fresh air.

    Slater wasn't the CEO though.

Varney clearly had and has a passion for Charlton.

As did Kavanagh despite being a Hammer.

I'm not knocking KM in anyway and love it that she "gets it" but we've had other very good CEOs too who also "got it"

It's depressing though. A fabulously positive piece on a national broadcaster and we turn it into an opportunity for yet another in-fight. You couldn't make it up.

Jesus wept. So what if she "played-up" to the cameras a bit (not that I think she did) its a great little film. She comes across as a down to earth, regular woman.

BTW, I don't understand the issue if she won't talk to the trust? They don't want to talk to her either. Its Roland or direct action isn't it?

As requested above, lets not derail this one please,

We'll have a seperate thread soon we were can properly debate the Trust aspects, but this thread is about (or should be) KM's Sky appearance and it would be helpful if we can all make an effort to ensure that we don't adopt for everyone's interest (and sanity) an 'all roads lead to Rome' outcome to every related thread. Thanks all.
