Not here to gloat! Just to say it was a good close game of cricket with good play from both sides... Jolly good cricket all round!

    Apart from the batting.

For people in the know is the Ordnance Arms any good for a quickie.

Perhaps I should ask on the Middlesex ccc thread…. Oh there isn’t one.

If you like Sam Smiths pubs (no real ale, own brand lagers and spiritis, cheap)

I've been there before a game and enjoyed it. I'm not too fussed about real ale etc etc so me it was perfect in the evening before walking down to Lords.
  • Is it just me or is it quite expensive?

Not really conducive to getting young-ish people through the gate?

In my opinion there should be an u21 price because I'm cricket mad so I would always go, however some of my mates were interested in going for a booze-up, but to then all pay 25 quid aged 18 for a county game...

Maybe I'm wrong, but in a time where the IPL, Big Bash and CPL are taking over the t20 format it just doesn't seem too smart.

Otherwise engaged for a few days but looking at the scorecard our perennial inability to remove 9,10 and Jack bit us on the bum once more.

I see Southeastern have laid on extra trains for the T20. You don't see them doing that for the much more popular football games at The Valley.
