Pleased with this!! Adds some good depth (as I don't suspect Cousins to be off)

Youse are really weird with the undisclosed fee thing. Why does it matter.
    Strange.

True, especially by all accounts it was an absolute baaagain.
    Ahem.

Would be good to find out how he did last year in France before he broke his leg. It may give us a better idea than how he did for Sunderlands U21s.

Anyway happy with both signings so far, both young, both represented their countries at age level and could prove good value for potential sell ons

Sunderland fans do not seem happy on Twitter. That's a good sign.

Call me cynical but could JBG be going the other way?

I think we would have heard rumours at least if that was the case.

It's a worry, Advocaat is a big fan of JBG's and has said so a few times. Soon see when JBG returns from holidays next week and the transfers get properly going.

The truth is we haven't got a clue how good or bad he is. We need to see him play.

Where or how did this rumour first break ?

    Clearly a potentially sensible source.

Actually scrap that, he will probably announce the signing at some point tomorrow afternoon and claim it as a scoop.

Colin has a valid excuse for the current delays to his breaking news feed.....he's busy working as a stoker on the Woolwich Ferry.

Welcome, fits the bill of young, hungry, with potential and if does well a sell on value.

    El Hadji Hadji
    his contract length is three
    signed for an undisclosed fee
    El Hadji Hadji
  • He's one of our own
    He's one of our owwwwwwn
    El-hadji Ba

    Etc. etc. etc.
  • Pleased enough with this signing, hopefully the fact he has been around English football the last few years(even if he has not played much) means he has more of an idea of what British football is like, really kick on his career with us.

Just hope he is Buyens replacement not Cousins.

Let's hope he knows how to score from the spot, then.

    Strange.

Every club announce signings as undisclosed these days, can't remember last signing i see where they announced the a fee. Just something for Charlton fans to moan about I guess.

Within 2 minutes of turning on sky sports news today i saw Cech to Arsenal for 10m, Clyne to Liverpool for 12.5m and Paulinho to some chinese side for 9.8m

Yes but is that just Sky? What do the Clubs official sites say?
