Would be really dissapointed it was Jackson. I wouldn't wish one of 'our own' and a club stalwart to work under our owners. Do yourself a favour JJ and don't even think about it - you deserve so much better.

Agreed! Any move to include Jackson would be to shut fans up and to potentially remove him from Charlton should he need to be (another POTY truth spiking etc)
This is becoming tedious. Its obvious they had Wilder on a list of one and were arrogant enough to assume they'd bend over and he'd lick there arse. There was no plan B and now they are scrabbling around with no real idea of what to do. Whoever we end up with it will have nothing to do with identifying the right man for the job and everything to do with who is desperate enough to want to work for these idiots.
No money for new manager now he has brought STVV,so it must be someone already at club or he is going to sell us ........Wishful thinking some might say.
I read in the SLP on Tuesday that Charlton interviewed Adkins. After that it all went quiet. Then it was Keith Hill, that's not happening and now Russell Slade. Desperate stuff, trying to find a British manager willing to work under the conditions set by Duchatelet.
Slade took a little club to the brink of promotion and then took Cardiff to just of the playoffs ..... if we finished just out side the play offs this season would people be moaning ........??
Yes, because we would still have a couple of liars ruining the club.
Warnock is available, but we might go for Slade, and you expect happiness? We are settling for second best at a fairly meagre restaurant, and now there are people here saying we are never happy. We just got relegated - after a couple of near misses. We have been turned down by the managers of Rochdale and Northampton, we are now being offered the mediocrities and non entities that our position next season fully entitles us to, and I read here that 'some people can't stop moaning'. Well whoop-de-doo! We are playing in league 1 next year, we can expect to lose any of our players who looked half decent last season, and a month after Riga shipped out, we still haven't got ourselves together enough to appoint a successor, but if we do , the names being bandied about are micro personalities. That's without moving beyond the here and now, and looking into the shambles we have been for two and a half years. Yes @cafc_harry , I'm going to moan, and until I see some real changes, starting at the top, it will be quite hard to make me forget the likes of Karel Fraeye, Colchester away, Preston home and the stewarding at the Burnley home game. You seem easily pleased. I'm not.
Warnock wanted a mill pound to stay at Rotherham ....plus you want someone who going to give you 2-3 years
Like Powell did. Managers will give you 2-3 years if they're not sacked after 2-3 months like this lot have been doing. Warnock is worth the money compared to what we'll lose.
Powell was lucky to stay as long as he did given our league position and the way we were playing anyone else would have gone way earlier
Seriously @colin1961 , your waffle is just really boring now.
Not happening today according to Ketts. Can't tell if he means at all for who we had lined up or just today.
In fairness to Ketts he did say Tuesday but said it may get completed today
I have no doubt that he was right both times, just the club fucking it up as usual.
Yawn ......change the record
Considering you plaigerise litterally every comment Ketts makes on the net you really need to take a good hard look at yourself when you are questioning his insider knowledge.
I've tried really hard not to bite on the crap you spout on here, but can't hold my tongue any longer.
You are an utter tool. You appear to spend your every waking hour collating insider knowledge and passing it off as your own, its nothing short of pathetic. I struggle to understand why you are allowed to freely troll this and other sites. This forum would be a much better place without your "contributions"

Classic trolling Col, you've been a bit formulaic recently but that line has redeemed it all
Johnnie Jackson 11/10
Skybet odds are lengthening on Slade and shortening on Jackson.
If this continues Jackson will be the favourite by tomorrow morning.
