    The four players that missed pens last night, all played in the premiership last season. So the English penalty shoot out success is spreading.

    I watched this in the old Olympic football stadium in Munich alongside 20 or so thousand Germans.
    What a stadium that is and the Germans know how to celebrate.

    Portugal would surely prefer a France win. Yes they'd have home advantage but at least their defence can be got at, i can't really see any weak links in the German side

    Germany play like England should. They're not direct, as on long ball, but they are direct as in, they just want to get on the front foot and into the attacking third as quickly as possible.

    A top manager like Mournho or Pep G would have sorted this out by now. Deschamp has not changed anything yet to try and deal with this.
