Good Luck guy's I hope you get to meet him face to face so he knows where he stands0
-
Was it just coincidence that #taxiforroland and the birthday lunch protest fell on the same few days?!!
Lol 7000 leaflets total from both campaigns - one each for nearly 18% of people living in the town.1 -
Not entirely. There was some liaison, although CARD isn't involved in their trip.daveydanger said:Was it just coincidence that #taxiforroland and the birthday lunch protest fell on the same few days?!!

Gutted not to be able to take part in this, but I will be in Liege next Sunday to meet the Standard Socios, so will be able to survey the fallout from there:-). The Standard crew are watching with great interest and admiration.8

Love all this. Well done on your top work - and I hope you have fun while you're doing it!0

Great work by all of you guys. Hope you make him very uncomfortable over the next couple of days.
And stay safe.0 -
a masterstroke I think in taking along a couple of women as people can't later claim that a bunch of yobs went over to intimidate blah, blah, whatever, whatever. It sort of softens it a bit although I'm obviously confident that no-one has gone to cause any sort of trouble anyway but you know how certain sections like to spin it these days. A couple of pleasant women being there makes it far less likely that they can.GlassHalfFull said:
Just spoke briefly to FF. They were in the cab heading for the main square. S-T is a pleasant country town just getting going on Monday morning. All good so far. Davo's just been on the dog with the Evening Standard.15 -
Brilliant CARD. Keep it up.0

My heartfelt thanks go to one and all, no matter the degree of your involvement.
Stay safe!3 -

That is absolutely brilliant!0

Fantastic stuff all of you.0

STTV fan read about the protest on the Internet and asked his boss if he could come over.
Doesn't think RD has any interest in football, just money, he doesn't like their new ground and Duchatelet takes all the income and rent.
He did say Cebellos is doing well for them.
He wants Duchatelet gone and wished us luck, typical reaction from locals.33 -
Thanks, others in the office just turned around to see what the muffled laughter was all about.Addickted2TheReds said:0 -
I think it's great that he's had his lunch disturbed by the B20, 5k leaflets distributed, now CARD and friends have come out, plonked this taxi in the town square and distributed 2k more leaftlets on top of that just a day or so later!!Addickted2TheReds said:
