Great timing as well with the guys being in Belgium, they really are the biggest bunch of useless tossers in football even outdoing Blackpool, Leeds and co.
His son was with him on Saturday and will take over perhaps? He is more than qualified to do the job! I.e fuck all experience but family.0 -

I'm waiting for the new Manager Bounce!1 -
KM : Russell Slade was a great success at Charlton. At the start of the season he started with 0 points and by November he had reached 20 points. Once again, each manager has improved our points total.

I wonder what lower league Belgian legend will become the next interwim one now.1

What does Meire have to do/ not do to get sacked? Would you want to drive a car with parts from Roland's factories?3

The way thinngs are going it would be enforced glass and bounce straight back.TalBHAndreBA said:I wish they put a brick through that window during Roland's happy birthday song now.

Slade is a limited manager and had been working under further limiting circumstances. I can see why some people wanted him moved on but his sacking is pointless, all this will do is cost the club more money for mistakes made by those running it.2

Jimmy Floyd would not be surprise , but equally very unlikely as they will probably revert to type.0

I know just the man. Mr Driesen can you be at Sparrows Lane at 9am tomorrow please.sm said:its Groundhog day again - lets appoint a caretaker who'll win a game and then lose a few 6 nil, before we get find another to oversee the relegation - and then repeat again!

Agree. He was worse than appalling.killerandflash said:Hmmmmm
Slade wasn't doing an especially good job with the squad he has, and the youngsters in midfield/up front who have been ignored.
But sacking anyone after 16 games is ridiculous unless they've done an appalling job, which he hasn't

Was thinking the exact same. Shouldn't be long...Ross said:6 pages and no picture of Appleton???????

Would recommend that the next manager doesn't go to the expense of buying a house. A 6 month short term tenancy with a 4 week notice period should be more than ample.killerandflash said:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37976381
On the main BBC website nowCharlton's revolving door
Chris Powell January 2011-March 2014
Jose Riga March 2014-May 2014
Bob Peeters May 2014-January 2015
Guy Luzon January 2015-October 2015
Karel Fraeye October 2015-January 2016
Jose Riga January 2016-June 2016
Russell Slade June 2016-November 20164 -
I have a suspicion that the appointment of Slade's successor will blow out the water any lingering hopes that Meire was not lying through her teeth about her and Roly understand the fans and trying to win them over.2

To be honest, I feel absolutely nothing about this. We're fecked regardless, and the bloke annoys me. It's rarely a good sign to see a manager crack in pre-season - it even took Karel months before he fell apart - and he was a fairly miserable pretend manager with no concept of tactics. I will remember him for his tablecloths, just like I remember Karel for his laundry basket, Riga for his waistcoats, Peeters for his lack of ability to interact with humans and Luzon for his ongoing lack of clinical diagnosis. None of them for their football11

He can probably buy Orient now and fulfil his dream of a team of centrebacks.Todds_right_hook said:Fair play to fat russ for negotiating a 3 year contract for a job with an average expectancy period of 4 months. Imagine all the pies and primark caps he can now buy with the pay out

It might be easier if the club buys a house and gives each new manager a 6 month tenancy4 -
Look on the bright side. At least we've missed out on Agent Olly.5

So that's why Roly wants to build a block of flats behind the "South Stand".killerandflash said:

He has 3 year contract, couldn't they send him out on Loan, like all the other people who apparently fuck up !
I forecast he would go after our 1st round cup defeat.shows what I know.
He will be rembered Russell Slade the man who gave Charlton Athletic a cup run !9 -
If anybody thinks we are going to get anybody other than Chris O Loughlin they will be disappointed.10

I just think Slade must have got Roland a really shit present for his birthday.
Like a pink rubber pig.
Either that or he forgot.
" SLADE, YOU BASTARD, EVEN THOSE FUCKERS AT CARD REMEMBERED MY EFFING BIRTHDAY!!!"13
