I promised a further update in early December, so here it is:
The story so far.......
On 20 November, total receipts since we launched the Protest Fund in January 2016 were just over £44,000. Following the announcement of Target £50k we had a great response, receiving over £3,500 in just 5 days. This brought the total receipts to £47,682 on 25 November.
By today, 6 December, we had received a further £1,439 bringing total receipts to £49,121. Many individuals contributed to this and the sale of new protest merchandise really helped to swell the coffers.
Thanks everyone - that is brilliant progress given all the expenses we have leading up to Christmas.
Can we make it to the £50k mark? Can we smash through that target before we enter 2017? Let's hope so!

Consider it this way: I've been outspoken against the regime, I'd look like a bit bizarre if I posted tomorrow saying "Yeah, the regime have really tried their best but I think it's time we began to protest". Why dress up the opinion that you've always held, and make it look as though you've recently changed your mind but you used to think the opposite?4 -
