Transfer rumours?

If this is the quality of player that TD is recommending to be sent our way for a trial then it sums up what a joke that this regime is. Complete laughing stock of English football which says a lot when you think of other circus clubs around the FL3

Why is Driesen even in the equation still?
Just fuck off.18 -
How do we know it's anything to do with Driesen?Macronate said:Why is Driesen even in the equation still?

Considering it's the 3rd match we played this week in 3 days, with 2 U23s and a first team match, we're a bit short on fresh legs anyway, so no harm on trying a random player in a meaningless game0 -

Fair point, but I was talking generally.
Just another ridiculous facet of the network set up.0 -
When he's signed on a five year deal. Then it will be the time to question him. Until then he's a trialist who in all likelihood we won't see or hear of again. If he's that bad I'm sure KR will be able to spot it.0

still won't stop us signing him thoughShootersHillGuru said:When he's signed on a five year deal. Then it will be the time to question him. Until then he's a trialist who in all likelihood we won't see or hear of again. If he's that bad I'm sure KR will be able to spot it.

You would hope that if Robinson said "He's not good enough" and they said they'd still sign him, Robinson would point out signing someone who he won't play would be a waste of money. With this lot, of course, nothing sensible can be taken for granted and we know they've wasted millions on Pete, Naby and Le Pointless.LargeAddick said:

Any chance of anyone I've heard of, or even hold on to your hat, really exciting, I'll take that as a no shall I.1

They would sack Robinson and find another manager who will play them.AddicksAddict said:

Has anyone told KR how the January transfer window will pan out? Or don't they want to ruin his Christmas?0

The standard of marking and defending is higher in local under 18 games that I have seen.AddicksAddict said:

This transfer window, Karl says that he wants:
- some 'wingers'
- To add to midfield
- 'Somebody who can play a little bit narrower' (number 10?)
Will be very interesting to see if all of his Christmas wishes come true. I would suggest that he is unlikely to get 4 quality attacking midfield players in January, going on the past performance of our negotiating 'team' (of one).2 -
Bet Potter is on that list. His contract runs out in February and he's rated by KR.1

You rarely get quality or value in the January window but, yet again, Charlton are re-bodging their unbalanced squad at the wrong time of year. What was that about lessons learned...?9

just look at the league one winning season, january was just about adding players of quality (danny haynes) for squad depth rather than wholesale buys.Missed It said:You rarely get quality or value in the January window but, yet again, Charlton are re-bodging their unbalanced squad at the wrong time of year. Exactly right, we added a few players to supplement the squad and keep everything ticking over, rather than looking to transform our season.kentaddick said:

Only saving grace is that I believe this league is a lot worse than it was back then, and somehow we are still just about in the hunt.0 -
Did he drop a hint with the Lopez comments?0

That he fancies a bunk up with Jennifer but Roland will only sort it if he drops any demands for additions in the January window.9 -

he thinks he's a special talent, then with a smile said no doubt they will be getting a few bids in January0 -

Only 18. Must be good to be playing regularly.0

Yup. Sorry, I just assumed that.ricky_otto said:0 -
Likes a decent winger. There is one at Reading called Callum Harriot who would do well in this division I reckon.12
