Robinson says " It wasn't my fault Guv".

Steve Brown said on BBC London " I knew how this game would pan out by watching the two teams warming up pre-match. Millwall were right at it".

Thinking back,i just realised i thought exactly that watching the players warm up on Saturday at the Valley,it was shocking.
  • Standard night out at Millwall, got my 0-2 prediction wrong

    I will never ever learn
  • No it would not have been different we always come out worse at The Den don't know why it has always been that way it is like we are always scared when we play them at home.

"It's not about a quick fix here. It really isn't. That will only come in time."

I thought Slade had done the hard work in sorting the background stuff out? - thats what Nugent said

Well Nugent certainly had them playing like the background stuff was sorted out...

Oh I forgot, "certain people were using the situation as an excuse" weren't they? Funny that, Karl, because if I didn't know better then I'd imagine that comment was aimed at someone a bit closer to home.

He's a chancer and not a very decent one, albeit quite a likable one if I'm honest. Simply put though, this isn't good enough. Nothing at this club is right now.
  • The funny thing is pre home match there will be people genuinely predicting that we will beat them :)

    20 years and counting
  • Two poor teams but they showed good character to win.
That sitter they missed in the first half, countless misplaced passes, and clearances into the stands, we had loads of the ball and looked alright but they kept plugging away and got two goals.

We did well to get one back, but overall we lacked that character that millwall showed and thus they deserve the win.

Going forward we could do with a few experienced league 1 players to sign in January. Not much chance of that happening, mind.
  • No character, no bottle, no pride, and crucially, no quality. Another horrible trip down there.

What am I saying 20yrseven worse

Yep I was six months old last time it happened! Couldn't even bloody say Charlton.
Don't worry. Roland is 70 and he can't pronounce it properly... "Sharlton"
  • It will always be the same as soon as the team bus turns down Cold Blow Lane the players get the butterflies and shot themselves there must be a hell of a line for the bog in the dressing room.
  • Shit themselves

Atrocious defending for those that can bear to watch it. The lack of challenge from the central defenders appalling for the first. What happened for the marking on that second goal. Morrisson had the freedom of the penalty box. Charlton also conceeded the central midfield area, again so the ball returned quickly. The third is woeful as well.

The only thing that will remotely provide a moment of cheer is watching Leonard Di Caprio drown in the titanic. The ships just hit the iceberg.....
  • New era. Same old shit.
  • Someone said they saw the players get in the coach looking like they didnt give a shit, well if thsts the case then fuck em.....we can be shit but show some front you pricks
  • The fact that KR is just keeping the same system despite the fact that we very clearly don't have the players to play it is driving me absolutely crazy.

Didn't come over to the fans after the game. Can't be arsed with him. Worse than Slade.

I don't buy this 'new era' line. It is patently the same era. The Roland era.
A new face in the hot seat, yes, but so what? Nothing much has changed.

And having been held in for 30+ minutes and the Southern trains being buggered, all the London Bridge trains are now f'd because of trespassers on the line. Another classic Millwall away day.

This. It's utterly miserable supporting us at the moment. And I don't mean being in a shit league, with a shit team. I mean the internal erosion of the club's spirit. The shitness on the pitch is a by-product.
  • Useless. Club is going nowhere but down under these utter pricks.
  • When you're relying on an 18 year old striker who was playing for a local side in Waterloo 2 years ago to be your creative midfield inspiration and grab the game by the scruff of the neck you know you're fucked.

  • Do not want to see a single one of them in a Charlton shirt again. Every single one of them gutless bastards need sacking. If I was that bad at my job as they are, I'd be sacked. Lookman the next big thing? Fuck off he's not out of place on this shite team.
  • Embarrassing yet again. Jacko got a clap and I can only inagine it was because he is a legend and does things like he did for Kyle this week because his performance was no better than the others that got abuse.
Robinson said 3 of the back 5 weren't there, Phillips kicking was poor but he didn't have a save to make so it can't be him, who was the other that turned up? konsa?
We had nothing going forward and both Josh and Ade were useless. Why do we do it to ourselves year after year

Just in, gutless, spineless, talentless, pointless performance and evening, in with them lot amd received more pity than banter. Saw @olster at South Bermondsey station and retained a naiave air of optimism, saw @Ollywozere afterwards and saw a man whose soul had just departed.

Merry Christmas addicks wherever you are and in the words of Roland, keeep dancing!

Does anyone truly believe the result would have been different if we'd had no injuries?

Well Holmes would probably of made a bit of difference and you definitely needed Jason Pearce for a game like that!
  • Wonder whats going to be in rolands email to karl in the morning??

Sickening performance. Thank god I'd had a fair few beers and a good laugh beforehand. Have tickets for MK and Southend but wondering whether to bother after seeing that.
