    Well, if any lifers are going Monday, me and a few pals from the local legion will be in the George & Dragon up the road at Galley Hill/Swanscombe High Street from midday'ish onwards.
    Great pub that was taken over a while back, won awards for food and beer.

    I'll be the 50's throwback :-)

    Didn't go Boxing day as had family stuff on. Will be at the return game new years day. Wasn't too fussed about missing Boxing day as I had a feeling Fleet would lose. They have a habit of choking in big local games, rather like another club I know........

    Have to say, not impressed by the new stand at Ebbsfleet, seems like a missed opportunity to build something worth while

    Dont forget they are restricted by space around the ground. Unlike other clubs the Council were no help.

    6 rows of seats and then a huge wall isn't what I expected, the hospitality suites seem more important

    Looking at it, I wondered if the new stand will incorporate bars, hospitality, etc not just the few rows of seating currently there?

    Stage one replaces the 100 year old wooden stand taking dressing rooms, all corporate facilities/offices, club shop and community hub under one roof. Hence the fact that there are only a few row of seats in the front as the current facilities are, to put it bluntly, not fit for purpose.

    Stage 1a replaces the Plough end & supporters bar. This will start in the summer and provide community facilities, as well as a new supporters club bar. Stage 1b will be built on the Swanscombe end with community facilities below. The old Stand, Stage Two, will be the last to go.
