Apparently a cheque does not have to take its usual pre-printed form and can be written out on anything; if all the correct information is on it, it legally counts as a cheque and anyone who has publicised that they accept cheques, has no right to refuse.i_b_b_o_r_g said:
One angry farmer used this to protest against a VAT bill, presenting HMCE (this was a few years ago) with a heifer that had been graffitied with his bank details. I'm not sure how the poor thing got on, going through the cheque clearing system.0 -

The fact that Lincoln vs Ipswich is on BBC 1. TV that probably only matters to about 50,000 people, affecting millions of disgruntled middle englanders up and down the country, because it's stopping them watch holby city or silent witness or whatever bland shit they take in on a Tuesday night3

Hmm - yes I see how you could want to watch it. However, I'm really enjoying the fact that this game is probably only relevant to about 0.083% of the population and even football fans probably aren't watching it and it's disrupting so many people's Tuesday nightCovered End said:Silent Witness - Emilia Fox.
