What I do see is a very promising all rounder but not an out and out quicky1 -

I'd be happy if he maintains his current pace and stays fit and develops his batting a bit more. Being left arm and skiddy he already poffers enough different or variations from the rest of an attack to make him a threat. Doesn't need to be lightning to cause problems.
Nothing stopping him from becoming a world class allrounder in time.
Surrey are convinced he will bat at 4 in the championship in time.1 -
One anecdote i had was that i used to play cricket with Ed Giddins, and he used to be able to bowl a ball that came out of the wrong hand - i've got no idea how he did it, but he used to saunter up thinking he was right arm over and the ball would come out of his left hand ! - very disconcerting for the batter, and used to get a few wickets with it too. Not quite sure how legal it would be now though.0

Sounds almost like another Kallis, though dont want to put him on too high a pedestal at moment. But no doubt he will be a special player. With him and Sam Northeast in the side next season we should be pushing for trophies.cantersaddick said:

When you come on to bowl you have to inform the batsman, via the umpire, of your bowling action; ie right arm over, left arm round etc. If you deliver anything different without telling the batsman that you are changing you action then it's a no-ball.
I remember umpiring a junior game when a new bowler came on to bowl.
"What's your action son?"
"Huh?"
"What do you bowl?"
"Oh! Fast."

You cannot surprise a batsman by changing from right to left arm! It is a no-ball.1

Dissapointed Willey has got the nod to replace Plunkett for this match ahead of TC. Big fan of Willey and like that he is left arm and his one day batting is very underrated. But he is very much a swing bowler. Even in English conditions he is useful in the first 10 overs and usually goes for a few when he comes back layer in the game and the ball doesn't do as much. In Aus with their ball it won't swing and I fear he could get ruined. I just feel TC has a bit more about him in terms of big game mentality and is better at natural variations of there is no swing.
