Never understood when someone resigns only for it to be rejected why they don't just walk. What's the difference?
Only conclusion in such instances is that either the individual is gunning for something else (pay rise, longer contract, new chair) or it's no more than a public gesture with the aim of winning someone over (workforce, customers etc).
If he wants out, then go. If he wants to stay then stop throwing up endless smokescreens and excuses and knuckle down to trying to salvage the season.
He'd be in breach of contract if he walked out. Has to work out his notice period.

I'm not sure what 'offered to resign' means. He either resigned or he didn't - and if he resigned then Roland can't refuse to accept it. Resignation is a unilateral act.
'I offer my resignation' is something you say when you're not thinking clearly (from previous experience of other people). He may have offered to resign if he's given some compensation, but why would RD accept that.
If RD truly cared about his interim role overseeing management whilst we are in the process of being sold, he’d be more on top of this

Whilst I feel for KR on the basis I think he put a shift in over the summer and wants it to work, I think he’s probably talked himself into a situation whereby he’s losing credibility. I look at his whole approach versus someone like Chris Hughton for example, and think that the mantra less is more would be ample here. He loves to talk, but I think he talks so much he says things that contradict on a regular basis. It’s not this, it was the car park as well

Perhaps Roland's decided to pick the team against Argyle?
Well the fact that whilst the takeover is up in the air, Robinson is not going to be sacked is an opportunity for him. I don't mind the crap he spouts in press conferences when the team is doing ok to be honest. It is up to him to stuff the criticism down our throats by turning things around. And it is up to players who may be unsure of their futures to impress this or other clubs by playing well.
All this talk of him going to Oxford - I can't honestly see there being a big queue for his services and seeing as he is in a job right now, his best bet is to stop feeling sorry for himself and turn things round. He has people around him - call a meeting and discuss options to save our season. No holds barred, criticism of tactics ect... Why do teams find it so easy to stop us? Why do we not look dangerous enough? Why do we make key defensive slips? Explore what alternative tactics might work. No suggestion is ridiculous sort of thing. I would imagine an in house meeting between Robbo, JJ, Bowyer and Euell chaired by Keith Peackock may be helpful. But that is for him - for us we have to see the team turning it round starting from Plymouth on Saturday!
I have a feeling Robinson doesn't rate our players (barring his signings of course) and the players know that. He probably couldn't stop himself from telling them.
He stated Saturday that he had one-to-ones with them last week, presumably to tell each one of them his opinion of them, or to tell them goodbye
You can't really refuse a resignation! You can try and convince the person to stay on, offer a bonus to stay, etc. But legally he can tender his resignation and work his agreed notice period.
Is that right even if you're working on a fixed term contract? Unless there's an agreed notice period, which (if it's even there) is probably is tied to the end of the season, wouldn't Robinson be in breach if he just left?

Don't worry we have Fleetwood at home next week and they are completely rubbish. Haven't had a clean sheet this year! We'll win that easily. Nobody could mess that one up!.............It is next week isn't it?

My view is swaying towards Robinson going there. An announcement not been made so thinking compensation talks have not been finalised.
