Strong pair of Balkans in this world Cup.
Croatia and Serbia are really up for this tournament.
IF it was still Yugoslavia with the best of the above teams plus Dzeko of Bosnian they would be one of the favourites.
The only team to give them a game would be the British side with 9 English players plus Bale and Andrew Robertson at LB.

Great strike but Ivanovic has to take that on the body and not go to ground.

Yup really looks like FIFA investigated the Harry Kane penalties really well the way Mitrovic was just handled

VAR so good one minute then useless the next. That's the problem.
Mitro just wrestled to the ground.

Mitrovic double rugby tackled and yet no VAR.

Another blatant bit of wrestling/rugby tackling not punished

Its the one fault of the World Cup... VAR was supposed to eliminate diving and wrestling with cards being given yet its being ignored even more by the Referees

Feels like refs are using it as a safety net at the moment.

If the VAR refs did not alert the ref to that incident they should not be allowed to take part in any remaining matches in this World Cup.

Have to wonder who the Video Refs are for this game and whether they're the same from the Tunisia game

Overall VAR have improved the WC but Kane and Mitrovic being wrestled by defenders is being allowed to go unpunished.
    Bizarre.

Going to be harder for Serbia now yet the way Brazil are playing you wouldnt put it past Serbia to get a result against them

Switzerland should then beat Costa Rica

Either way; Switzerland could end up above Brazil in terms of Goal Difference which could then setup a Brazil v Germany second round tie

If England then top the Group they'd avoid facing either beyond the Quarter Finals

    Shaqiri the Bosnian Albanian,
Who plays for Switzerland was a power house 2nd half.

Serbia Brazil should be a good match. Serbia definitely have enough talent and physical presence to scare Brazil

That was a great game and reminded me of watching the world cup as a kid and just enjoying watching live international football as a neutral (which is appropriate, as Switzerland were involved).

Spain were 1 0 and 2 1 down against Portugal and were ahead 3 2 but I don't recall a team coming from behind to win until tonight

He was a keeper and Maradona about 4'3", if he'd have done his job and jumped properly then Maradona wouldn't have got anywhere near it anyway.

Indeed and a coat of varnish from scoring goal of the tournament
