what a pass from Modric! World class.0
-
Worth giving it away tho.
No foul 100% goal
Foul chance it could be saved0 -
Open goal, should be 2 penalties0
-
Ha ha how on earth is that not a red card? He's 10 yards out about to tap it into an empty net!3
-
Yes!0
-
Wtf? Yellow card?0
-
Oh dear oh dear!!0
-
What a foul to give away
Could have saved his country0 -
If there was one keeper you want saving a penalty it’s Schmeichel.0
-
absolute injustice there. Denmark should have ten men that was basically cheating from the danish defender there.1

That Danish defender needs to buy a lottery ticket.1

Wasn't a foul, it was cheating. Open goal and going out. A penalty is injustice0

I thought it was for any foul that leads to a penalty0 -
yeah but that was a professional foul Paulie. The defender knew he had no chance to win the ball so he intentionally brought the defender down in a goal scoring position. That's the very definition of a red card to me.paulie8290 said:For those saying red.

Not a red card if a penalty is awarded and the defender makes a genuine attempt to get the ball1

Double jeopardy1

that's for accidental fouls. deliberate ones still get the red cardpaulie8290 said:For those saying red.

But if the law is that no red carf can be given if a penalty is awarded then the ref had to give him a yellow0 -

The defender tried to get the ball, this wasn’t a Willie Young 1980 situation0

as said above still professional foul if no intent to win the ball.paulie8290 said:

what a buzz for the 2x Shmiecals, Schmiecals, schmi... Ooh fuck off

About as deliberate a foul as you can get, he was never getting there and the striker was about to tap it home. So he brings him down and only gets a yellow.
Be even funnier if that defender scores the winning penalty in the shoot out!0
