Done approx £3.85 of damage.

You need some new material...

If the travellers had not been moved on, before we returned to the Valley, you would not have been able to see Robbo on the wing, play there

Thanks for posting. Some good points made in the comments section of that article.

I use that cafe weekly. Seems I'm lucky as I've had no issues at all.
Nice coffee, good staff and friendly vibe there.
Shame they've had/are having problems.

Woolwich does seem to me to be less rundown in the centre than it was but it still has a lot of unpleasant characters hanging about.

Antisocial behaviour is rife across the borough and the council seem disinterested in dealing with it.

No problems inside at all. It's lovely. I think its who is using their seating outside.

Makes sense.

Saw it on twitter. One woman said he'd burgled her son's flat when he lived opposite! Not the brightest spark...obviously never heard about no sh!tt!ng on your own doorstep. Hope this means he's caught quickly.

I've seen him in and around the square and the cluster of bookies there.
They should clear the bookies out. They add nothing to the area and just attract aggressive behaviour from those hanging around outside them.
There are 4 of them within a 1 minute walk around the square.

The trouble is they don't get cleared out especially in poorer areas. The planning inspectorate often decides in favour of bookmakers where local councils refuse planning permission. Central government doesn't really see gambling as an issue.

Woolwich is changing slowly but many of the problems built up when the area was in decline are still there.

I know it's stacked against the council regarding this. And it seems economically good, to the bookies, if their shops are in clusters. But they add nothing to the area, if anything they blight it.

Not disagreeing with you - seems likely a lot will close down if betting terminals are more heavily regulated.

Let's live in hope.
