If the numbers are correct (and NLA is pretty firm that they are) and Roland had a bona fide offer of 40m pounds on the table then I’m astonished he didn’t take it. Especially since he has said on a few occasions that he doubted the Ozzies had the cash required. He must have lost millions in holding onto the club over the summer, and for a business that is supposed to occupy only 1.5% of his time, there’s no way that can be the case right now.0

But the Aussies do have the money. The EFL have told us they do by completing their tests. That’s not to say they are willing to spend it on Duchatelets over inflated price but they do have the funds. Not only that. Duchatelet would want assurances from banks before he embarked on the final stages of a sale. The yellow toothed old git won’t turn on a lightbulb never mind engage lawyers on a non existent sale.
