The merry go round continues, an uninspired choice3

He hasn't gone YET but the Fulham manager is on borrowed time ......0

A terrible summer transfer window, bought far too many players, spoiling the team spirit, and he doesn't know what his best team is.Fortune 82nd Minute said:He hasn't gone YET but the Fulham manager is on borrowed time ......

He got them up though didn't he. That's got to count for something.0

Real Madrid have sacked their Spanish fella
Go on lads; go for Luis Enrique (I know he's a Barcelona legend so wouldnt anyway) just to wind 'em up for shits and giggles at the Spanish FA2 -
Conti favourite I heard.ForeverAddickted said:Real Madrid have sacked their Spanish fella

Not anymore. Vetoed by the senior players at Real apparently. Manager of Castilla, Real's "B" team is favourite to get it, for the short term at least.Riviera said:

Watched the game (on TV in Spain) with my Madrid supporting friends. Apparently Conte and Mourinho have been approached but Courtios has warned that he would leave and that they play crap football. Fans not keen on either.MrLargo said:

Unless the Castilla guy is an instant success, I can only seeing them aggressively pursuing Pochettino, just can't see any other appealing options. Think they'll get him but they'll probably have to wait until the summer.Cordoban Addick said:

I think you might be right, but hope not. Pochettino is good for English (England) footballers.MrLargo said:

For all the gloom and doom, and Real were on a terrible run, they're only SEVEN points behind Barcelona after 10 games0

Neal Ardley sacked (AFC Wimbledon)0 -

I think Euell would be their best choice
AFC Wimbledon are a bit like Charlton and need someone who gets the club - Cant think of any other ex-Wimbledon players in any form of Football Management other than Dennis Wise who they'd be really stupid to appoint0 -
Sad for Ardley to leave Wimbledon, but they've not been playing well.
Would Euell want to go there? Yes it's his club, but it's a step backwards as well, a club with a very small budget who will never progress any higher realistically2 -
Great chance to get his name on the Managerial rung though if thats what he wants to dokillerandflash said:Sad for Ardley to leave Wimbledon, but they've not been playing well.

Ardley has probably made the mistake by staying too loyal to Wimbledon (I dont know if he had the opportunity to go else where) yet by being sacked from there instead of walking into another job I imagine it'll be harder for him to progress without taking a step back himself0 -
On the other hand you have to suspect that the Tanning Shops in Swindon are about to take a big hit
There again Phil Brown seems to be the lower league version of Mark Hughes | Alan Pardew in terms of there always being one club who'll be prepared to give him a job3 -
Ardley has been linked with the Swindon job. Perhaps Phil Brown can take over at Wimbledon!ForeverAddickted said:

Euell just got the role with The FA and England youngsters. It would be mightily difficult for him to do that new role as well as being the manager of AFC Wimbledon.
I get the attraction when he has previously been at the club and is very fond of them. However, it would be a dangerous one to go into and could ruin his managerial career before it has really fully begun. They're a small club in this division who haven't been getting results for a long time and are desperately struggling to score goals since we got Taylor. If he was to go to them and they get relegated, it could do him more harm than good when he has done such an excellent job with our under age groups and now moving forward with the role with The FA and England.
His time will come in management I am sure, but I do question as to whether that time is now.2 -
John Askey has been sacked by Shrewsbury...
Wonder if Macclesfield will be tempted seeing that they've not replaced Mark Yates
Wonder if Paul Hurst is speaking with his old Chairman again...1 -
Holloway 4/1, Hurst 5/1. Tempted to have a flutter on Hurst - obviously don't know if he'd want to go back, but I suspect he's the first number their chairman will be dialling.ForeverAddickted said:John Askey has been sacked by Shrewsbury...

Seems with Macclesfield as though Jay Saunders (ex-Maidstone) was going to take over but Jay has changed his mind.
Bet they've got Askey on speed dial at the moment0 -
Richie Wellens seems favourite for the Swindon job1
