Jokanovic in a way though has been a master of his own downfall
Why not stick with the players that got them promoted in the first place rather than diving straight into the Transfer Market like a kid whose just been given a blank cheque at christmas

this i agree with, spending big money on players that have not played with each other - i think they will turn it around and hope they do as i can think of another london club that could do with being relegated
Harsh on Jokanovic & very sneaky of Fulham to have clearly been talking to Ranieri behind his back. We all know it goes on, but still out of order
Khan said he and his son Tony Khan, Vice Chairman and Director of Football Operations at FFC, considered and spoke with a number of potential candidates within the past week, with Ranieri becoming their mutual and obvious choice. Tony Khan and his staff will continue to oversee First Team player recruitment and contractual agreements, and he will work closely with Ranieri. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2018/november/14/claudio-ranieri-named-manager-of-fulham-football-club
In the same sense though Fulham have been sensible doing it the way they've done things
They've been sneaky and a bit immoral towards Jokanovic but we saw Stoke last season and how they decided to sack their Manager before looking for someone, in the end they went a month or two without an appointment and was probably what relegated them (along with the fact they were forced to go with Paul Lambert)
Spent over £100 million in the summer sat bottom of the league and have let in 31 goals in 11 games.
Yes it was sneaky and clearly done behind his back, but that is what happens in all leagues, Swindon sacked a manager and appointed a new 1 the next day, no way was the inteview done after Brown was sacked.
Same with Lambert, Hurst left Lambert straight in again they had clearly done the interview before Hurst had gone.
It seems like most clubs make a decision to sack a manager, do interviews and when they have found the right 1 then actually sack the manager
Its harsh on him in the respect that he's only had 12-games
Granted Fulham cant afford to wait any longer if they want to last in the Premier League but Curbishley went on a 10-game run where we picked up one point in the 1998/99 season, that would probably get a Manager sacked in the Premier League in this day n age yet look what he went on to achieve... Yes it meant we got relegated but we came back stronger, same with Dyche @ Burnley
What isnt harsh is the fact that Jokanovic was an idiot and rather than rely up the players that got him up (like Curbs and Dyche), instead tried to buy Premier League safety rather than risk relegation and have to come back up the following year
A brutal defenestration, but international breaks are always popular times to make a change in the PL and Fulham have been shocking. I'm sure it was the Huddersfield game which sealed his fate, and that they've been looking for a new manager ever since then
Shame as Jokanovic did a great job taking them up. If they want prem safety though they have to risk it and bring Ranieri in as otherwise they are going down. They’ve done great business in the transfer market and another good move in choosing Ranieri rather than going for a sam allardicd/Tony Pulis type appointment.

Have they done great business though?
Mitrovic yes, but then he was on loan there already. Schurrle yes, but not sure about the others.

Well they got Seri in from Nice who was supposedly wanted by bigger teams and have Sergio Rico on loan who has over 100 appearances (and two Europa League titles) with Sevilla... Based on those two joining along with Callum Chambers and Timothy Fosu-Mensah you'd have expected them to do a LOT better than what they are doing.
I honestly expected them to be the surprised package of the season
Well they've certainly surprised me by doing so shite!!
I am not sure why but I seem to know more Fulham fans than any other club, apart of course from Charlton. They are all very happy with the signings however the main complaint seems to be Jokanovic playing them out of position.
Ireland 'part company' with O'Neill and Keane .. the odd couple get the boot .. the Irish need to bring back big Jack, a hero both sides of the Irish sea, dementia notwithstanding
An unusual arrangement, McCarthy to manage until 2020 then Kenny tales over. Not often is a managerial appointment confirmed 2 years in advance!
Isnt a bad idea... especially if Mick doesnt want it long term as Kenny will be managing the U21s for the time being
If Mick does a great job with the first team, and Kenny's U21s keep losing, will they definitely want to make the change?
Does Mick want to remain in International Management thats the question - Feels like he's doing it as a favour and to maybe help out his reputation and show that Ipswich fans were wrong to demand his exit (sorry thats already proven)

They sacked him, got Katrien in to interview 20 people in an hour and then appointed the best person for the job.
Mitrovic yes, but then he was on loan there already. Schurrle yes, but not sure about the others.

This guy has been mentioned, maybe Mark Kinsella could also be involved, as his PL experience would be useful
