No surprise there as it was pretty clear the knives were out for him.
But what a fall from grace. From doing superbly at Birmingham, he has bombed at Derby and now Stoke. (And done himself no favours the way he engineered his move to Stoke). Will be interesting to see if he gets another chance somewhere else or falls off the managerial roundabout a lot earlier than others do.
Wonder who Stoke think they can get thats better than Rowett?
He's not won promotion from the Championship before but is there really anyone better available? - Jokanovic?

That would be an exciting choice, rather than going for one of the usual tired names. I imagine the failure of Paul Hurst at Ipswich would be a cautionary warning though
