yeah, Manhunt is ok. Not holding out much hope for the Sheridan Smith one - the highlights and the premise look crap to me.
    As posted on Jan 8th
  • Next Tuesday Channel 4 10pm. 100 Roland Duchalets.
  • Loving the third season of True Detective.

So am I......just wished I could hear what they are saying sometimes....

    STOP  F**KING MUMBLING   !!!

    Glad it’s not just me!
  • Baptiste starts tonight at 9pm

new series featuring the detective from “missing” on BBC
  • Dirty John Netflix.
    not bad worth a watch.
  • Trapped last night was a bit ponderous.

    Baptiste more promising.
  • Enjoyed the start of Baptiste.

Finally watched “Abducted in plain sight” on Netflix - just wow and not in a good way.
  • Boy oh boy......that last episode of Cleaning Up really was a spectacle to behold.
Just wasted a Friday night finishing wTching that absolute sea of utter bilge. Rare I get angry watching anything on the telly but wanted to through the set out the window. Complete horse dung
Not watched Cleaning Up. They might have turned it into more of a thriller etc but it sounds like an identical plot to a below average British comedy film from the early sixties called Ladies Who Do.

Abducted in Plain Sight almost defies belief. I suppose a bit of an insight into how cults can manage to manipulate and brainwash people.

  • Really liking Baptiste.

Didn't realise the woman that plays Kym was actually a man and had an op 28 years ago. She's a proper milf.

Agree with the “Really liking Baptiste” bit but Kym is all yours.🙁

    Surely it’s a Tilf ?
  • Hoping this half hour comedy sitcom tonight on bbc1 Warren, starring Martin Clunes delivers.

Not new series .. catching up on 'Bullets Boots and Bandages' .. terrific insight into military logistics .. 'Warship' .. self explanatory .. and I've just finished 'Africa' ..  loved the slant the African born presenter Ade Adepitan brought to this mini series
  • Anyone watching Umbrella Academy on Netflix? 5 eps in and considering ditching it but just about enough in it to keep me going to the end.
  • Didn't think much of either of the 2 new "comedies" on BBC1 earlier. Martin Climes wasn't that funny (the dynamic with his stepson was weird.....most 19 year olds would have told him to fuck off years ago) & I've never really "got" Alan Partridge.
  • Ricky Gervais has a new show on Netflix on 8th March.

    Looks really good

Love the i'm not a Pedo but if I was you'd be safe you Chubby little Ginger **** line to the kid haha
  • Fleabag is back next Monday at 10:30pm on BBC3 :)

  • What were people’s thoughts on the finale (and series) of true detective?

I feel like the ‘crime’ was swept up in 10 mins and still want to know answers about Amelia amongst other things.

Disappointing finale to be fair . What went on in the whole 8 episodes seems irrelevant with that ending .
I enjoyed it overall though .
  • After a new Netlflix series if anyone can suggest a good one?

Previous likes include Narcos, Ozark, Luther, Peaky Blinders, You, The Sinner, Haunting of Hill House etc

Preferably one that isn't over 2 series in, so that the task to catch-up isn't too daunting.

  • Started Big little lies last night , only one episode in so will see how i get on. A few attractive women so it has potential :)

I liked all of those. My recommendations would be El Chapo and Line of Duty.

If you like You, go for 13 reasons why. Not quite the same but i believe you will like it, only 2 series to binge too. Orange is the new Black , or Power are the best 2 shows for me

    Ditto, guys.

In the end, it was rather a predictable way to explain what happened to the 2 kiddies & a bit "soft" IMO.

For me, neither of the follow up series were a patch on the original which was different, dark and starred the 2 perfect  actors for their roles.
  • Not sure you really needed the Final episode after E7 it was pretty clear the way things had gone
  • Yeah I think I agree, I didn't feel like anything was closed. The 7 episodes previous in fact all 8 were good the ending was just a bit flat

I also agree the last 2 series haven't been a patch on the first and the bastards teased us in one episode that Marty and Rust might show up and bust some heads or lead us into a 4th series where they pick this case up
