imo he isn't that good and the guff about us being autos if he stayed is just opinion.
They were alright till Christmas last season but have been shocking ever since.
Mid table beckons and Karlan Ahearne-Grant not getting 10 goals next season.
Secondly, his name is Karlan Grant, there is no Ahearne anymore.
Finally, if he is played regularly throughout the Championship, I would say he will get double figures, everything he has done in the last year to 18 months points that way. Don’t write him off.1 -

As for a natural finisher....do me a favour. Like most of the strikers we've had since Super Clive he can't score 1 on 1's - take a look at his effort against Palace last Saturday for proof. Should have hit it with his left but went with his right foot & the shot went off for a throw.
As for his free kicks......please do let me know when he scores from one won't you. I reckon he's in a competition with Ben Reeves for the most wasteful use of a dead ball.
The fact is he's 21, playing and scoring in the premier league, picking up around 20k a week, and we're a worse side without him.
He may only play there until the end of this season, but he may well play there again in future, and regardless he can still say he's done it, which is a lot more than most and a far cry from the league he was playing in 12 months ago.0 -

Supporters may have noticed that you now go by the name Karlan Grant. What was behind the name change?I’ve always referred to myself as Karlan Grant and my nickname has always been ‘KG’. It’s what all the lads call me.
I’ve been wanting to change it for a while because I have a really strong relationship with my mum. I tried last year but by the time I raised it with Parkesy [Club Secretary, Chris Parkes], it was too late, so the first thing I did when I got back in the summer was to ask him to request the name change to the EFL.
It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, so I’m glad it’s finally done. It makes it easier for the kitman as well!

One of Grant’s best attributes is his pace, he is so quick I don’t think people realise just how quick he is. His willingness to run in behind players and at them now is going to cause any defence problems, especially with his pace.
Now, he isn’t as quick as Theo Walcott ever was but in my opinion he is technically better than Walcott. He is for sure a more natural finisher and I’ve seen Grant score a few free-kicks for example, he seems to have a bit more about him with the use of the ball than Walcott.
So in theory, would Grant not have a decent chance of making it at the top level and play regularly? I’m not saying he will play for England or actually ever be as good as Walcott was in his career at one stage for example. But he certainly has attributes that could benefit the national stage. My point is Walcott has made a Premier League career for himself, but overall I feel if you compare how one another are/was at 21, Grant has an overall more about him, in my opinion, than Walcott did. Grant has scored 3 times for an awful Huddersfield side in 7 games. Walcott scored 4 in 30 for a decent Arsenal side at the same age.
Now I am prepared to get criticism as Walcott has played a lot for England and in the Champions League etc. My point is Grant could look at his career and have belief he could do something similar, not as good, but use it as a positive influence and belief.
I believe he has the potential to show he has more to his game than Walcott did with his raw and unreal speed. I like Walcott but I do believe that Grant is technically a better player in comparison to the same age, when I say technically I mean his use and comfort on the ball, he isnt awkward, but more a natural footballer than Walcott. That doesn’t mean he will be better or have a better career, just there is some hope for Grant to forge a good career in the Premier League.0 -
I've always liked Grant.
He suffered from being thrown in too soon but now he has matured physically he is beginning to fulfil his potential.
The fact he has a decent turn of pace will always give him an advantage and if he can avoid injury and rise above all the hype and bullshit I think he can have a good career at Premiership and Championship level.
Just p***** off that he couldn't grow and develop with us.1 -

What is your problem? Why keep referring to him by the name he doesn't want to be known by? Especially weird seeing as he'll never see it.
It's plain disrespectful.1 -
Any Karlan doubters have to remember, until his last half-season, he was mainly played on the wing.2

I am probably the only person who would be just fine never hearing his name or thinking about him ever again.

Has won Huddersfield a penalty which Aaron Mooy converted to make it 1-2 to Leicester
Cant think why he didnt take the penalty himself2 -
I just can't help thinking that the bloke in the crowd who got mistaken for the now manager Jan Siewert, might have done a better job too....🤔4

Really unlucky not to score today with a fantastic instinctive toe poke. Great stop from Schmeichel big open handed block.1

Weird(as in "weird")

It's difficult to have it both ways isn't it?4 -

Hamer would be disappointed with that goal.0

Spurs have ruined this game by scoring goals0

Grant looks like he's really filled out in the past 3 months, he was looking stockier this season anyway but he's put quite a bit of muscle on2
