    Matthew Corbett (an absolute legend from my childhood) is still alive and kicking and will turn 71 on his birthday this year. Real first name Peter.

    Might have been mentioned already but U.S. Bob Barker. Aged 95. Has studios in the States named after him. Original presenter of Price is Right.

    Today we say Happy 90th Birthday to Len Deighton, author, who specialised in spy thrillers.

    Funeral In Berlin and The Ipcress File were two of his novels that were made into films and Michael Caine (only 85) gave memorable performances in both as the 'hero' Harry Palmer.

    Not forgetting The Billion Dollar Brain, the third novel in the series with the film adaption directed by Ken Russell.

    There does seem to be some confusion online with some sources stating he was born in 1929. and others saying 1933. I suppose he will know which is correct! Need Chirpy to adjudicate!

    Dickie Davies born 30/4/33. Wiki, IMDB and Screenonline all agree. 
     So he's 86 as is his contemporary Frank Bough 15/01/33
