1700 left by the looks of it, 1600 upper tier.
Doesn't surprise me. Buying 3 tickets together online this morning was a stressful experience. Everytime I tried to put three together in the basket it then said that they were no longer available. In the end I got two - one behind the other and the third 5 seats along the row. Not ideal with an 8 and 11 year old but do-able. The speed that those tickets were selling at online was astonishing: they were literally disappearing before my eyes - and I mean literally. I reckon that in the 30 minutes that I was desperately searching for 3 tickets, 5000 must have been sold - it was that crazy.

The queuing system is fair but I don't know about the random place in the queue at the beginning but I suppose that that's the only way they could do it.

Just got ours, the queue was surprisingly short...about 5 minutes just 400 in front of me. Got 2 in area 543 row 5 so up in the gods but we are in! Booked on a train from Hastings to Gatwick.....off to Jersey for a chill out few days before the big weekend.
There were over 7800 in the queue at 9 o'clock this morning.

I just had a count up too and got 1665.  Most seats are available in the North East section, particularly blocks 546-561. There are still some singles dotted around all over the place including in Cat 1 sections (edit: actually forget that, they're wheelchair/assistant tickets only).

Every time I thought I had a brilliant seat, I discovered it was for a wheelchair. I did this multiple times before accepting a seat in the gods. Watching the clock tick down while I messed about looking for the 'perfect' seat was so, so stressful.
Hi @JiMMy 85, were the wheelchair seats marked with an 'i' or similar? According to Wembley's interactive map my seats are wheelchair spots, but I didn't seen anything that indicated this on our booking pages or in my confirmation email.
@Neil Heaney from what I can tell it only let’s you book wheelchair seats if you are registered as a disabled ticket holder. When I got to the check out part it said something like “you can’t have these tickets” so you should be fine!

Not sure where CE got his figure, mine was a manual count of what was left per block. Regardless, it's a great effort that so many have bought tickets already.

I don't know for sure but I'm fairly confident that the club (or more likely their ticketing system provider) are using a third party that specialises in issueing tickets eg Ticketmaster.  Hence the very effective queing system which would have to manage ALL customers to ALL of the events that they have currently available.  So position 7800 does not just refer to CAFC customers eg it could include Sunderland supporters if they are using the same ticketing provider.

Question... I assume this is the bank of tix for Charlton fans.... any idea how many left in the whole stadium? Does this mean a sellout of Wembley is essentially imminent? 74,000? :o
  • Wont make Tues by the look of it?
But after the scenes and support fri night I'm not surprised

best you can hope for on Thursday would be a single ticket block 544 last row or something,

I can only see single tickets being left

I'm absolutely delighted that we are going to sell out.
But I hate the idea of people missing out.
Hopefully we will receive a few more thousand and everyone who wants to go can.

Those than can afford it should probably be able to get hospitality/corporate tickets, otherwise it’s down to people offloading spares  or Sunderland not selling all of theirs

One thing is certain, whatever issues people had this week, it sure beats standing in the west stand car park for about 8 hours like 1998.

Millwall didn’t have the top tier when they played in their last playoff final.
