💬LB: "Kayal is outside running. We don’t want to rush him back and need to make sure when he’s ready that he’s flying. I won’t put pressure on the physio department. We have everyone fit at the moment, so there’s no reason to rush him.” #cafc
💬LB: "We’ve told Callum Harriott that we won’t be signing him. He thanked us for letting him come in to train and get fit. Tyrone Mears has only been in for two days so we’ll have a chat to see how he’s doing at the weekend." #cafc
💬LB: "There are a lot of clubs phoning up to loan our younger lads. If we need them they will stay. If it suits us they will go, but that won’t happen until the end of the window." #cafc
Pretty unacceptable, the FA's attitude towards Hemed. Unlike the EFL their organisation is groaning with money, they should be able to settle these issues promptly.
Harriot is better than any of the front 4 on Tuesday. Has to be a money decision.
You are wrong. He isn't better than Aneke or Bonne. The midfield against the Vegans Couldn't feed them. Harriott doesn't have a football brain unfortunately. If Bowyer thinks Fosu can't hack it then Calum has no chance.
Bonne should have been the designated Penalty taker in the absence of Taylor. Good record from the spot and needed the boast.

Bowyer and the coaching staff have had plenty of time to look at him, and I am sure there would have been money for him if he wanted him.
I think he would be a step back for us if we had signed him.
Were you there on Tuesday? The attacking threat was negligible from our reserves against a fourth division team. Harriot on his day is better than any of them just now

When was the last time you saw Harriot play in order to judge that? “On his day” is the clue there, unfortunately he was never blessed with consistency. I don’t think we can afford the luxury of having a player in our squad that is going to blow hot and cold on an ongoing basis.
It's all a matter of opinion of course but specifically on Tuesday night Aneke just seemed to be going through the motions and Bonne's first touch was poor. They scored 5.04 and 4.86 in the statbank accordingly. I'm and probably @Southbank 's not saying Aneke or Bonne are worse than Harriot but that he would have had to go some to score lower albeit he has managed that in the past on more than one occasion.
As I've mentioned before I saw him for Reading at Stoke end of last season and he did ok but he certainly has his detractors amongst our fan base who have no time for him. On the performances of the attacking players against FGR Sothbank's observations were valid IMO.
Hopefully the Hemed situation turns out for the better but if not a fit Harriot would be better than what we saw up top on Tuesday. Beggars can't be choosers but maybe it's best that Harriot hasn't signed as he would have easily leapfrogged Solly as this season's potential whipping boy. However in Bowyer, who may be keeping some of the budget back for an out of contract full back*, we trust.
Completely agree and nice comments from Solly and Cullen. Comes across as so straight and honest. Have the feeling that if he wasn't at Charlton - then he wouldn't be anywhere else. Seems to have a real affinity for the club.
💬LB: “It’ll be a tough one. Brentford are a good footballing side so they will be a test for us.” #cafc
💬LB: “The mood around the place is very high. It’s carrying on from last season and we’ve taken that momentum into this year. We’ve added good quality so everything is positive and that comes down to hard work.” #cafc
💬LB: “The reality is that if we stay in this division this season, that is a massive achievement. A lot of our players haven’t played in the Championship, but I believe in them and believe we will stay up. Any talk about promotion is ludicrous!” #cafc
💬LB: “We’re a good side and we will continue to surprise team because we have a good bunch who want to win every game and we set up to win every game.” #cafc
💬LB: “Erhun Oztumer was fitter than I expected him to be. I didn’t want to take the risk with Jonny Williams on Wednesday because Barnsley was the first 90 minutes he’s played since he’s joined us.” #cafc
💬LB: “We’re still looking at Tyrone Mears and one other right-back at the moment and they’re both doing well, but it’s unfair to judge them so early on. Adam Matthews is the other one.” #cafc
💬LB: “Macauley Bonne is a project and is improving all the time. His movement is getting better and we have a great base to work from because he can finish. Ideally, I’d like to keep him here and keep working with him so, as it stands, we won’t be loaning him out.” #cafc
💬LB on Pratley: “He’s a great professional and young lads look up to him. George Lapslie loves him and he helps him out so much. Having someone out there doing that is invaluable and he’s been a top pro since day one. He’s been exceptional so he deserves that extra year.” #cafc

Signing Oztumer now would allow us to send Lapslie or Morgan out on loan.

Edit; * Or Oztumer!
*EDIT*
Oh wait right now!
*EDIT*
Oh... thanks
Complete lack of ambition...
Get Hemed sorted and we're set up very nicely for the next few months.
Lapslie has actually been of use so far. Albie merely showed a flash of class against Blackburn.
She's a Millennial ..... she can't walk without a phone stuck to her ear.
