The Takeover Thread - Duchatelet Finally Sells (Jan 2020)

I think the bottom line is that as long as we retain our Championship status it doesn’t really matter now what happens this season. If there are not very exciting plans to rebuild the team that we can all see over the summer then questions can justifiably be asked then. Let’s just hope that our key injured players can come back and make an impact and that our signings plug the gaps.4

Personally, I think this is quite an important moment, and whether the new owners replace Keohane or retain him sends a big signal.
Regardless of his competency or lack of it, he’s a symbol of the distrust we had for the Duchatelet regime and he’s representative of the attitude that held the fans in such contempt.
If ESI truly want to build bridges with the fan base, offloading this revolting stormtrooper would be a decent step in the right direction.15 - Sponsored links:

Surely in the context of football ownership, the position of COO is one where new owners would be expected to bring their own man in? Ok, so he may need paying off, but I don’t think it’s the minefield you’re suggesting.1 -

So I was due to meet a couple of mates in Bartram's at 12.30 before the game yesterday, but for some reason (not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere) it was closed. As I pulled my phone out to text my mate to tell him, a lovely club-employee lady stepped out of main reception, asked if I was trying to get into Bartram's, told me it was closed, and then gave me three free tickets to the Millennium lounge. We had a very comfortable drink up there. Hospitality at it's finest. Would never have happened if RD had still been the owner!28

Has Burger Boy done anything to get him fired you ask ? Well maybe im a tad bias here I have to say but , how about employing goons with no ID who then go on to attack the clubs fans ?
reversing the question --- has he ever done anything to warrant his position ?22 - Sponsored links:
